Quotetreaclefingers Quotejbwelda That was my opinion at the time too: I have all this already so don't really need it. I always did look for the early version of it with the alt takes of oh I don't recall, Wild Horses and You Got The Silver or something. Had the matrix number on a piece of paper in my pocket. Had and loved High Tides and Green Grass, even though duplicated what I had

QuoteDGA35 QuoteNikkei Quotetreaclefingers QuoteNikkei There's just one song glaringly missing from Hot Rocks in my opinion and that would be The Last Time Agreed, though She's A Rainbow should also be in there. If only vinyl had more room! I could maybe do without As Tears Go By I'm sure ABKCO withheld some songs since they probably had More Hot Rocks ready to release too.

Quotejbwelda Quote24FPS QuoteGasLightStreet QuoteStoneage For me it all feels a bit too late. I mean a re-release 40 years after the original release. I guess this re-release business accelerated when they realized they didn't have to make new recordings anymore. Had they realized that earlier we wouldn't have had 40 years between the releases. It's extremely likely that the St

I believe all of those songs were played multiple times during the tour just not very frequently.

If they release a live 1981 show I hope it is one when they played Tops, Down The Apiece or Mona instead of the standard set list.

I remember reading an interview with Chris Kimsey and he recalled going through the vaults and selecting about 20 tracks for the Stones to choose from for Tattoo You. However, I recall him mentioning in another interview the outtakes from the period You Win Again, We Had It All (Now both officially released on the Some Girls bonus disc.), Let's Go Steady (Again) and Munich Hilton. This is not true, as Clinton Heylin proved in his excellent book About the history of the bootlegs. Of course 'The great white wonder' was the first rock Bootleg, followed soon after by 'Live'r than you'll ever be', but basically Bootleg Recordings were as o

I'm somewhat surprised they didn't just add the 4 different songs played at Salt Lake City as a bonus instead of releasing the complete show. The four songs below were the ones only played at Salt Lake City. 3. She's So Cold 8. All Down The Line 10. Slipping Away 11. Infamy

Only 4 unreleased tracks from Rio. It would have been better the other way around with Salt Lake City and Rio as the bonus. I am not sure it's worth it unless you get the bonus show. I might skip this one and use the money saved on other music.

The book will tell the story of the men who started the Trademark of Quality (TMQ) bootleg label and released a number of Rolling Stones titles including the legendary Liver Than You'll Ever Be. The book will contain a complete discography of the label with photos. A friend of mine helped with researching the information in the book. In that hot summer of ’69 two longhaired music freaks

Quotedcba Quoteboogaloojef QuoteCaptain Teague A deluxe/expanded Love You Live with a two disc El Mocambo would be nice. Since they have already released a complete 1975 show, it would more likely be a complete 1976 show instead up a Deluxe Edition of Love You Live. Therefore a DVD of Paris'76 with a Mocambo CD would be a swell pacakge. James? Mick? I would say a Paris 1976 dvd/cd c

QuoteTheflyingDutchman To my ears "Criss Cross" embodies the creative bankrupt they where dealing with at the time. Everybody does his job on an ok level or on the automatic pilot if you wish. Filler at best. I like it better than Can You Hear The Music which was included on the album.
