Here in New Zealand we cannot get to the tour this year for the first time since 2013. If we did manage to get a flight out to US we wouldn't be able to get back into the country. We're locked down like fort knox here. We would love to follow the tour remotely if we can though. I'm pretty sure periscope is finished now, so does anyone know any other app or way to be able to strea

Is anyone else still waiting on Ticketmaster San Diego ticket refunds? I have all the others except that one. Wondering if I should contact them.

QuoteNate QuoteKerryann Happy to say I received two more refunds overnight. We now have refunds for Nashville, Vancouver and Minneapolis. Just waiting on the San Diego one and a couple of hotel refunds and we will be almost all paid out. I'm probably not going to be popular for saying this, but I feel that Keith hasn't been quite right for a while. We noticed at the two Chicago shows last year that he seemed to lack the enthusiasm and energy/showmanship that he previously had. He played well, but didn't appear to be enjoying himself with the old Keith flair that he'd had a year or so ago. He always used

QuoteHairball QuoteKerryann I'm getting thoroughly pissed off with all this. Waiting on NZ$10,000 worth of refunds from Ticketbastards for 4 stones shows. If the new TM policy is to only refund cancelled shows, I would expect that the STONES to show some compassion to their loyal fans and cancel the shows so that refunds can be actioned before ticketbastard goes bust. Even if the Stones do reschedule for next year, it is likely only people in the US who will attend the shows. Here in NZ we've been told that it's likely our border could be closed for years, and only open piece by piece to select countries who are clean of covid-19. Not sure what the stance is in other countries, but my thoughts are that this virus outbreak will change the wor

I cancelled all of my accommodation through hotels.com. All the booking were fully refundable and I cancelled within the refundable time frame. I received about half of my refunds and the others are showing cancelled on the hotels.com site, but the money still hasn't appeared back on my credit card. Trying to contact them is useless, the calls don't even go through. I've requ

Here in New Zealand we have today gone to the level 4 alert. The highest level. This is to try and prevent community spread getting out of control. It means that everyone nationwide is in lockdown. Only those employed in essential services allowed to leave their house. We cannot visit parks, beaches, or drive anywhere except to the supermarket, Dr or pharmacy. We can go for walks near our ho

In New Zealand we are apparently just beginning to have cases, but our government is reluctant to test people. It seems what our PM says and what really happen are miles apart. She says we have ability to test up to 1000 people per day, but in reality we have only tested 500 odd between Jan - Mar. Officially we have had 8 cases, but people here suspect there are a lot more who just haven

Can I suggest to anyone with refundable hotel deals to cancel and get your refunds asap. This virus is really hurting the travel and hospitality industries and there will be casualties. If your agent goes bust, there may not be refunds to be had. Also just hoping that ticketmaster is solid, as I imagine they will be issuing mega amounts of refunds from cancelled events at the moment. Thats w

With a heavy heart I've just cancelled all my hotel bookings. We have made the decision not to travel to USA for the tour even if it was to still go ahead. Travel industry is in trouble now and wouldn't want to lose out on our refunds if they went bust. Such a sad day

I'm just waiting for the cancellation so we can refund our tickets. Definitely not now travelling from NZ to USA for this tour regardless. We have paid a small fortune in flights, hotel bookings and really good floor seats at 4 x concerts so in total out of pocket around $20k at this point. We can cancel hotels and get flight credits so just need the tour to be cancelled so we can refund

And thats one of the reasons we are considering not travelling from New Zealand for this tour. As a business owner we can afford to be away 2 weeks to attend 4 shows, but not for a couple of months in a locked down city. Really hope they postpone sooner rather than later.

I know I'm going to be unpopular for saying this but I kind of hope the tour is postponed until later in the year, or next year. I will be flying half way around the world to attend and don't like the thought of moving through busy airports and being in close contact with others at the 4 shows I've booked. For me the concern of catching the virus would stuff the excitement and enj

QuoteTopi I'll likely stay at the Canopy by Hilton, not far from the venue and a reasonable price. The Minneapolis stay will be shortest stop on my four-dhow mini tour. (SD to NSH). Topi, it sounds like you're doing a similar itinerary as us. We leave New Zealand on 7th and overnight in LA. Then onto SD from 8-11, Vancouver 11-15, Minn 15-17, Nashville 17-22 then home. After the 8th we are planning on a few days in the Gaslight area. Is this a good area to stay for nightlife, restaurants, sightseeing etc? My on-line search seems to indicate this is the happening place to hang out. Also are there any recommended live music blues bars worth visiting?
