Studied him in college as an Economics major in the late 1970's. Later, when I had a family to support, I realized just how wrong he was.

1st Row (Ronnies side) in San Antonio on Licks Tour....most of the shows I have been to have all been in the first 10 rows....although last show I saw in Houston in December I had 2nd row in the middle of venue to the side of the floor.....much prefer the first few rows..better sound and everyone stands the whole show so none of those worries....and, you just feel more THERE!

My wife and I met Mick, Keith, Ronnie and Charlie backstage before the 40 Licks show in Houston. Somewhat unreal when they all walked into a little room where we were but they came right over, first Keith, then Ronnie, then Charlie and last Mick, to shake hands and say hellos. It was pretty incredible and a great experience....so much smaller in front of you then when they are up on stage. We

They played it at my first Stones concert in Houston during the Bridges to Babylon Tour. That was the concert that started the whole Stones "hobby" for my wife and I.....flying to different cities, reading all the reviews....but its a great hobby!

I have used EBAY twice to purchase tickets. During the 40 Licks Tour I bought 2nd Row front seats and paid a premium. On this tour I bought 2 tickets to the Houston show and actually got them for $150 less than face value per ticket....but I waited until the week of the show and that is when you will see the prices egin to drop dramatically.

in a "nutshell", prices seem to be VERY cheap in Europe and pretty expensive in the USA. It cost me $400 for each of the shows that I went to....even for the Licks Tour I think I paid $350 per show. In Europe they seem to be cpmplaining about $100 or $150 per ticket...guess the US economy and standard of living is just higher so they can command higher tix prices?

My wife and I were guests of ETrade during their sponsoring of the US Licks tour and we got to meet all of the Stones before their Houston show. Keith and Ronnie were quite friendly...came right over to shake hands, chat....Charlie was quiet and seemed shy and Mick walked in last in a fur coat and seemed much more distant but was friendly i guess. We had a couple of pics taken of us with them..

Santana...must have been around 1973 or so....i recall that I fell asleep during a 25 minute bongo solo Bob Dylan....around 1980 (?)...played all his classics on a freakin electric guitar, screaming out the lyrics...no interest in them at all...it was an embarrassment

I think most people know the reason European countries such as France and Germany were against overthrowing Saddam. Their industries were heavily "in bed" with Iraq and making billions of illegal dollars (against the UN resolutions) and they are still afraid this will all be revealed some day...just as we are finding out the UN officials were scamming millions off the "food for oi

Listening to Bona makes me sick....he is a self absorbed ego maniac. The day he announces that he will turn over all of his future earnings to relieve 3rd world debt then maybe I will take notice. In the meantime he basks in his hundreds of millions and flys around the world in private jets and travels by limos all the time chiding us for burning fossil fuels. He is a total hypocrite.

I cant wait to hear Bono announce that all of the proceeds from this tour (hundreds of millions of $) will be going to the 3rd World countries to help them with their mounting debt. Also looking forward to his announcement that they will be doing their part in "saving the environment and foregoing the use of their private jets and limos and be travelling by more "modest" means...t
