Geeez...finally some people airing their opinions on this cancellation thing. They have been on the road for well over a year, countless hpurs in airplanes, cars, hotels as well as about 110 shows of running, singing and frankly dancing his ass off. His voice gets tired a few times and everyone is calling them greedy bastards, money mongers, etc. Not many 63 year olds can keep up that kind of

Great memories of alot of fun times at different shows with my wife...the excitement of the anticipation of a show...the slow build up....as recently as 10 days ago at Zilker park in Austin. A great photo that was taken of us with the guys at a meet and greet during 40 Licks. But most of all, the memories.....

Come on....I have been going to Stones shows for years and honestly, I think they get better as the years go on...I know it cant last forever because Micks voice will eventually begin to wear, but currently, and I saw them last week in Austin, I think they are incredible.

"that meeting all of them happened in rapid succession, literally one right after the other. There wasn't time to pause and think what to say to each member before the next one was greeting you. It made it very surreal, like going down a greeting line at a wedding or graduation ceremony, only much more intense." I know exactly what you mean. My wife and I attended a Meet and

My wife and I drove from Houston to Austin yesterday after finding someone to watch our three boys for the day. Got to Austin and went to Zilker Park at about 4:30pm. Just had a wonderful time!! The Stones were so "on" it is almost hard to explain. When they opened with "You got me Rocking" and then went right into "Lets Spend the Night Together", I knew that we

I bought a couple of the Radio Shack employee tickets. The area directly in front of the stage is reserved for them....quite a large area too.

My wife and I went to a Meet and Greet during the 40 Licks Tour which was sposired by ETrade ....I was a big customer of them at the time. Very fun experience....quick....have a nice photo of us with the guys. One thing...it amazes you when they walk into the room and come over to you how small they all are! Im certain none could weigh more that 160 lbs...and they seemed so short!

My wife and I had a Meet and Greet with the Stones In Houston during the Licks tour. It was very quick, probably about 3 minutes, but they all came in and shook hands, posed with us for a photograph (great souvenir). We were told no autographs and I diddnt bother. Keith, Ronnie, Charlie then Mick came in in that order and I would say that was the order of their "approachability. But it w

Alot of people gonna scream about this, but considering his body of work in the last 35 years, I would have to say Bob Dylan.

In 1976 (or 75?) I paid $10 to see The Allman Brothers, Beach Boys and the new band at the time,The Eagles in Texas. It was the most I had ever paid for a concert at the time...the $10 barrier was broken!

Tough call....Lady jane was one of the first Stones songs I fell in love with in the 60's....but Ruby Tuesday was sung at the 1st concert of the Stones I attended during the Bridges tour and it was FANTASTIC!

Personally, I loev the Stones version. Seems very intimate and upclose on the B Stage....Dylans version is great as sung 40 years ago but maybe I am just a bit "jadded" after seeing Dylan 20 years or so ago when he was in his "electric rock" stage and he sang Blowing in the Wind and the song was almost over before I recognized it over the 3 electric guitars playing....it was

Houston show during the Licks Tour....got to meet the band in a room backstage....photos....they were all quite friendly...Keith and Ronnie in particular...came right over to shake hands....Mick came in wearing a fur coat..a bit more aloof. Exciting to do that and then an hour later we were in the 2nd row watching the show!

Lukester....Leon was so incredible in those early days it is almost indescribeable...his shows would leave you exhausted. I saw the 76 show with Mary and that was when he began to "mellow" considerably. I did see him that same year at Willie Nelsons 4th of July Picnic in Gonzales, Texas back in the days of the 2-3 day music festivals. Saw him a few times in the late 80's (once w

...guessing Leon played Jumping Jack Flash...saw him do that several times in 1970,71, 72...Leon was the greatest! My wife and I won tix to see Motley Crue...I didnt know a single song having never been a "metal" fan but the crowd was crazy...on their feet and singing every song. If you like VERY heavy electric guitar and drum oriented music, Motley Crue is for you!

I have a friend from India who recently married and his wife in India is on the list and is expected to be able to LEGALLY immigrate in four years...he has no problem with that. He is a bit perplexed about all of this illegal immigration. I can guarantee you that almost ALL Americans have no problem whatsoever with immigration...it just needs to be done legally and in a controlled manner.
