Don't assume that. They could find a new super variant that is vaccine resistent by then, or any number of things. Traveling between various countries presents al kinds of logistical chall

Given the volatile situation across Europe, I can’t imagine a scenario where a band like the Stones can logistically plan and carry out a tour across Europe. A bunch of different countries not on the same page, etc. if they want to tour in 2022 they should hit North America again, and then some shows in the UK. That’s probably gonna be the only feasible opportunity for touring revenue in 2022.

QuoteNate Quotepodiumboy Looking at the way things have unfolded in just the past few days, I don't see any large concerts happening in 2022 outside the UK and the USA/Canada. Absolute nonsense. Nate How is it nonsense? Europe largely seems to be moving in the opposite direction of allowing large concerts. A lot of things would have to change for the better in the next 6 months. Ge

They can hit these cities that were cancelled from the 2020/21 tour. Vancouver San Diego Cleveland Louisville Buffalo Then add these Canadian cities: Toronto Montreal Moncton Winnipeg Edmonton Then put in a few more US cities, or even a couple in Mexico City, to round out the 15 or so dates. Then maybe a handful of dates in the UK for their 60th anniversary. It could work,

I'm just saying that even at 90% vaccinated, once Australia and New Zealand open up, there's going to be cases of infection. LOTS OF THEM! Once those case numbers start going up, panic will ensue, and restrictions will be put back in place. It won't matter that the majority of vaccinated people do not develop severe illness. The rising case numbers themselves will require some

Ozzy just became the first artist to move his 2022 European tour dates to 2023. Something tells me many others will follow. Getting multiple countries on the same page enough to mount a tour will be difficult. If it doesn't work out, we'd love to have you back in the US/Canada!! ake up some of those cities that got cut out of the 2020/21 itenerary.

QuoteCaptainCorella Quotepodiumboy I don't think anybody will be playing stadium sized concerts in Australia/NZ/Asia in 2022. Why not? In Victoria the capacity limits have been removed and the publicity talks about 100,000 at the Boxing Day Test (which amazes me as I didn't know that there were 100,000 people sufficiently interested in cricket to go to something like that!). Okay

The sad thing is that if they would've scheduled Vancouver at the end of the tour, aka right about now, it could've gone ahead and happened.

The stage was in the normal end stage spot. With Any end stage stadium show, the seats to the side and back of the stage are obviously not used. So you’re subtracting at least 1/3 of the capacity right off the bat. The show would’ve held more than 42,000, at that. But these days they have ways of strategically dispersing the audience so that people are spread out and the stadium appears full.

I wonder what the attendance split at the 2 LA shows was? I’d have to think something like 30,000 at night 1 and 50,000 at night 2, right? The 17tg was pretty much sold out, whereas the 14th had a long way to go. Just wondering if anybody knows anything. People who were there, what did you see? Etc

QuoteTKinOH You should go, I've been doing it for years! The only shows I regret are the ones I didn't get to... I just did a 12-hr return drive Monday from the show in Minneapolis, to Troy, Ohio where I live... solo... maybe it's an Ohio thing!! Haha! I'm taking my 18-yr old daughter to the Detroit show, it'll be her third Stones gig after Columbus 2015 and Phi

So here’s the problem I have. I want to go to the Detroit show. I live about 3 hours away in Ohio, and I’m pretty sure this is the last time (?) the Stones will be playing near me. I had tickets for Cleveland, but that didn’t work out. I would like to take my 10 year old son with me, as paint it black is his favorite song. Also, how many people in his generation will be able to say they saw

DMB still played a full show last night at the Gorge, and will do so tonight and tomorrow as well. They had a replacement bassist, and DMB's keyboard player Buddy Strong filled in on drums for some of the show. Dave and longtime guitarist Tim Reynolds opened the show with an extended acoustic set, which they've been doing as a side-gig for a long time. Fans who were there said it was

QuoteDGA35 It seems all of these current KISS shows are outdoor amphitheatres. Might be difficult to reschedule some shows if it gets into late October/November. I see their Australia tour has now been rescheduled for Spring 2022. 1. KISS have had to postpone so many outdoor shows at this point that they are going to have to wait until next summer to reschedule them. They’ve already got US d

QuoteBeforeTheyMakeMeRun I'm not much of a fan of Garth, but this seems like the smart thing to do. Having said that, I'll be amazed if the Stones (or most any other major act) don't at least postpone their dates. Postpone to when? To a time when Covid doesn't exist? Good luck with that. This is our new normal. There won't come a magical time in the summer of 2022

Garth Brooks audience are unlikely to easily go along with the new concert protocols. The Rolling Stones audience are much more likely to agree to things like mandatory vaccination/negative tests, and masks. I don’t agree with postponing to 2022, because there’s no reason to believe we won’t be in the same situation or worse next summer. Covid is here to stay. Please e either find a way to mak

Why does anybody believe that 2022 is going to be any better? There will be another variant. There will be more deaths. There will still be plenty of people who won't get the vaccine. We have to either figure out how to live with this virus and let life continue, or we accept a life of restrictions, lockdowns and cancellations as the new normal.

Don't book anything that can't be refunded or rescheduled. I have very little faith that these shows will happen. I had tickets to Cleveland and Louisville, and now my backup is either Pittsburgh or Detroit. But I won't be buying tickets until much closer to the date.

Quotebam Let's hope the tour happens. And we can get back to arguing with people who are mistaken and don’t see that “Miss You” has been horribly overplayed. Seriously. If Mick isn't going to fully commit to the "WHATSAMATTA WIT CHOO BOOOOOY?" line, there's no point in even playing the song.

QuoteWoz I think the Stones should tour. If they are all vaccinated and manage their backstage scene (as they always do) I don't see any risk to the band members. As to the audience? If you don't get vaccinated and you get sick that's on you. At this point there is a solution and if you are not willing to be part of it, well that's your problem. I'm seeing as much music a

I'm excited!! Raiders of the Lost Ark is my favorite movie. Last Crusade is near the top of that list as well. Temple of Doom and Kingdom of the Crystal Skull are good, not great, both with some problems. In my opinion, Crystal Skull gets too much shit, and Temple of Doom doesn't get enough. I don't really care about how old Harrison is. He's roughly the same age as
