Well I broke down and bought a pit package for Sydney also , see you all there. Other thna that , it has been incredibly frustrating to finally get into the site and find allocations gone city after city today! And these packages, I am also beginning to suspect that they outnumber the regular tickets at least today. But YIKES, I went down to a Ruby Package in Melbourne and basically your paying a

Here's a qeustion, the offical site says: The stage design for the indoor concerts is based on the band’s ubiquitous tongue and lips logo, which extends out into the crowd, allowing the Stones to interact directly with their audience. The exclusive ‘Tongue Pit’ GA Standing area inside the stage will give fans in this area an incomparable 360 degree concert experience. I am eager to re

Well the Stones continue to Macrh to their own tune, so far as I can tell , by vistong Facebook , here, Frontier Ticket Etc, the onl;y place these down under shows are announced is on the phone APP. Add to that that the time in Auckland, and Sydney was about 3 AM.... and cap it all off with the fact that all they announced were the Australian and NZ dates while most of us down under were asleep!

Ok still hope, noon Tokyo time To be honest I have been so very blase about all of this when talking to friends in the UK and USA, and today there is fever in the funkhouse now. I just can't regain an air of I don't care. I just hope no one has caught on here at work how little I am doing.

The ABB Shanghai show was documented in the DVD. This tour's stop is in a much bigger arena. I remember how weird it was, there was a big gap between the front row and the stage , or the security rail before the stage. My sister and I left our second row seats and hung around at the rail. The concert started and we just stayed there , front row hanging in the rail, we would look back, and he

I was at one point given the chance to stand at the side ofr the stage , KR side, RW's were never available, I clicked on wondering what it would be like to watch the horn players from behind for the 90 minutes they say the show uill last, and got an "error" message. An hour into it and they are completely sold out.I guess I am content that I at least tried.

HAHHA Paulywauly you are right, I was just chatting with Beast, and she and I agreed better to save for Europe. Somehow the airline industry has risen to new levels of ridiculousness. To move my departure date from Auckland back a few days and add a jaunt to Singapore would cost me more in adjustments than just buying a whole new ticket from Auckland to Singapore to Perth to home and not using

Well there is the Glimmer party on the 4th and Bobby Keyes that night...but where is everyone meeting the day of the show? I imagine a bar in Britomart area near the public transport to the show ...but is anyone thinking that far ahead?

Frenki09, if you go back to the ABB Shanghai show threads, you will see that historically this is what happened. The Stones confirmed the show and gave a date tickets went on sale. Immediately the promoter put up a website, and through it you were able to buy tickets. News Traveled like wildfire, the site closed their links and did not re-open them until the later official sale date. Nonetheless

I don't see Jakarta on the list either, but on the post linked above, its is being rumored as a possible replacement by BV. As of last night, my best other source is still saying Singapore. But obviously at this point if it is still nto confirmed, there has to be a problem. I'll loose a room deposit, no problem, I am just glad I held off on the airline ticket, which I was gonna break d

Well Jakarta is out of the running for me...My family will be in Auckland from Indiana, leaving at just the right time to get to the airport that , because of time zones, would land me in Singapore 4.5 hours before the show. BUT moving the show to Jakarta? I would have to leave my family, That USUALLY would be a problem easily forgiven . BUT after the 4 of them have flown 8300 miles at great cos

Well bugger me, everyone was right, when I discovered that: "There are 12 seats A2 block , Ron Wood's side, no row or seat number, priced from $14,778.51 to $18,883.66* per ticket!!" People said that they would not sell at those prices and they are sooooo right. Here we are 12 days later AND THEY WANT $18000 TO $23000.... Ok besides just being @#$%& all insane , what is the

Oh I would be MEGA pissed to pay a small fortune for a PIT ticket, especially if it was package price, then get there and find out I was in row 8! If there are seats in the pit, there will not be much room for jockeying around, it is not a huge area! And then bugger, when the guys are walking the tongue , it will not be an easy case of just turning around! Unreal.

Seats in the pit?? I am sure the government will ban certain songs like they did last time , I just wonder if they will be the same songs. This may turn out to be one of the strangest shows of the tour if nothing else.

Yes the place was full last time, yes the place was smaller, yes the tickets were cheaper, yes the process of paying off and getting hold of the ticket was angst driven, yes the whole front of stage area was full of non Chinese, absolutely everything said about this show was true the last time. I ended up getting my tickets only at the front desk of the Four Seasons after 1 AM the night before; e

Well since I am taking basically 5 March to 5 April off for these Down Under shows, I'm guessing I will be able to make shows in July if I do OT, follow a budget, and dont take any more leave...but it will be tight. I hope that they will be arena shows, all day at a festival is just getting to be a bit more than I want to handle. Talking with a freind the other day, I am pretty much c

Well I took the chance and booked a room for the 15th and 16th. I figure I have the time off, the Marina Bay Sands is always something I have wanted to see since I watched a documentary of it being built, and the hotel is filling up Better to loose the deposit than being caught short I guess.

Any one with any idea what the hold up is here? Prices at the Marina Bay Sands are high and they are requesting full non refundable payment on March 15 and 16 at one site, so I take it that they know what is going on those nights. But I am juggling this with Perth and other shows and hate to shell out airfare hotel for nothing. Everyone that talks to me says "yes," but I wonder why ther

OK now I can tell you what I had to delete before when people panicked. The pisser is that like last time, tickets for Shanghai actually went on sale tow days before the OFFICIAL date. Some people have known they had a confirmed pit ticket two days ahead of the sale I posted that and was asked/begged/cajoled into removing the info before scalpers descended. The cheap seats are gone, but I have a
