It's weird hearing someone with a voice sing these songs, doesn't work, Micks grunts and vocal manurisms far outweigh Chers voice, i don't think she gets this music, it's all showbizy with no substance or attitude , although Mick and Tina Live Aid was pure cringe.

Quotepftw04 Hackney Diamond is a decent album. But not like its predecessors. Here prededecessors means post 1989. Post 1989, the opening song had set the tone of the album. For steel wheel it is sad sad sad, for vodoo lounge love is strong, for bridges to babylon it is flip the switch and for A bigger banf it is Rough justice. Anygry is good but not like its predecessors. However, they are still

Quotefrankotero Mischa063, I’m in the same situation. I had to wait until 1981 because I grew up in the States. I’m also hoping for a Euro Tour, now I live in Portugal I got into them in 82' age 17 so being English had to wait until 1990 to see them, it felt like an eternity but we'll worth the wait.

It's a bit early for rehearsals, at least another 3 weeks away. Interesting to see if they try something new / different other than a few new tracks from the album. New tracks usually get dropped by Mick if he doesn't get enough applause hehe so expect two new songs at the most after the first few shows, hope I'm wrong though.

Swayed you completely nailed it, no one on here hates the album the Stones or Mick. Just disappointed with as you put it a throw away product I honestly love the 2 singles and the 2 Keith written songs ( although dislike the production)so it's not all bad and I said that many times, I've enjoyed playing the album after i got used to it. No hate, still can't wait to here the

QuoteMadMetaphoricalMax People get in to different songs and albums in a variety of ways, which can be interesting to hear about and identify with, if you are a fan of the band. But when people hate an album, what they have to say about gets boring and repetitive REAL quick. And I've had a lifetime of haters in print or in person telling everyone how much they hate the Rolling Stones. 80s mu

GasLightStreet Merry Christmas. I don't have the time or inclination to respond to a rant like that. I love all Stones albums up to and including Voodoo Lounge, even Dirty Work. As far as I'm concerned the Stones don't change enough, as i said a few days ago they have been playing the same show since 89' they absolutely don't like change, they play the same hits

QuoteGJB Do we sense if there is any chance the stones will take both Sasha and Chanel on tour - both back-up and then one person sings Gimme Shelter and the other sings Sweet Sounds of Heaven? I thought in Milan when the stones had 3 backing singers is sounded really good so would def welcome multiple vocals Keith said no.

I wonder if Mick will have Chanels volume turned down, i found it curious but telling that Sasha often had her mic turned down on GS. ( Not when singing her solo spot, i mean when she shared the vocals on GS with Mick.) Just an observation but Mick seemed to tire of her agressive posturing during their duet.

Quoteliddas It is easier to find cross-party consensus in the Italian parliament than in a group of Stones' fans. There is a reason for this. Music fans in general don't like changes, and the Stones changed continuously along their whole career, following different trends, replacing key members, compromising between opposites, including in the mix new instruments, technologies et
