Quotekleermaker QuoteHis Majesty Rambler got hotter and hotter, imagine how they'd be after say 10 gigs!? It works so well that Taylor on Rambler at the very least needs to be a regular part of any future gigs. A regular thing of a Taylor section or something in place of so many guests would be aceness! There is clearly still a special musical connection between them all that brings

QuoteFan Since 1964 Mick Taylor has shown that he were and still is an important musician for the Stones. His playing on Rambler has been awesome and he really should have playing on even more songs. Great to see him taking his part of the final bow. Because he earned it with or without Jaggers acknowledgement! Get Mick T back in line for any upcoming events and make him have his rightfully ea

QuotesanQ Yeah perhaps you're right. That's more sensible. I think they could make a great record with Taylor as member of the band.

QuotesanQ In the latest Mick Taylor article from Billboard, he was extremely happy. I am sure he's getting financially rewarded finally plus getting respect in the Stones camp. I was also looking at a website where they showed how much Jagger (200 plus million) and Richards (close to 200 mill) are worth, also Ron who is worth around 80 million...I am sure they can afford to make sure tha

QuotesanQ He knows why he left. It was because he was heavily into drugs and his life was going down the tubes. If he would have stayed in the band, he would have died. Plus Jagger and Richards were surrounded by yes people, especially Keith who had people praising his every move. They weren't modest at all. But those days are done. They are all older, wiser and more down to earth.

QuotesanQ I couldn't agree more! Mick Taylor plays way better solos than Mayer, Clapton, or anyone else around. He looked and played great tonight and he looks like he's lost some weight too. He should be back in the band full time. It would be the smart thing to do. Yes he should be back in the band, think they could do a fantastic record with Taylor in line and then a world tour.

QuoteCousinC Quotetalkcheap Of cource, but i guess it isn't much. If he wanted money he should have stayed in the band. He said in an interview that he phoned Keith 6 months after leaving and wanted to come back, but then Ron Wood had already taken his place. Taylor said he was broke, had sold his gold records and had a bad drug habit. Don't know about all this. But 6 month after leav

I agree also, he didn't play good in the first show in Londen but much better in Newark. Suddenly the Stones sounded like they did in 1969 to 74. The Stones has missed something since Taylor left. Never understood why he left.

I think Taylor is very sorry he left the Stones. Not a very smart thing to do and I never understood why he left. Maybe he don't himself.

QuoteStonesTod feel free to add your own....i'll open the proceedings with: why the stones hold You Got Me Rocking in such high esteem, while dozens of vastly superior tunes have been ignored on the stage....this will never be fully understood by mere mortals Cause in theirs ears it's the new "start me up". A song that can be a hit live.

I remember an interview from 71 there Keith says,"I don't see why the kids have to pay for it, especially in America, the most capitalistique country in the world, why can't coca-cola pay for it?" Well, there's been a lot of water under the bridge since then.

QuoteTitle5Take1 Where Mick and Jerry lived at that time, although Mick isn't even mentioned, obviously at his request, thinking appearing in A.D. wasn't very rock and roll. (Note Kazuhide Yamazaki art on the stairs wall—Yamazaki did the stage art for the `81 tour.) I want to live like that!

Seen him a couple of times with Coco Montayo on guitar, my favorite bluesbreakers guitarist. I belive John is the most advanced blues player whos out there. He took the blues far beyond standard 12 bar blues. The best.

Lets face it. The albums from 1968-1974 was Stones at its best. And to a very large part we have thank Mick Taylor for the "dark bluesy sound" he contributed with from 1969-74. Not so much the songwirting i guess. Keith and Jagger wrote the songs for a large part. But I think the Stones would have stopped touring a long time ago if it wasn't for Ronnie Wood. He is a great person t
