Last night I attended a discussion with Robbie and Steve Van Zandt at the NYPL. Robbie was a great story teller, and came across as very likable and funny. He spoke very highly of Levon and all the artists he worked with. I am looking forward to reading his book.

The Worst, I agree with you. The Stones have never played North Africa, and since Morocco has played a role in their musical history, it would seem natural. Last time I was in Morocco I saw many Stones bumper stickers on vehicles and tongue shirts. It would be a huge event and they would get a great response. As the people would say, "inshallah."

If you are in Vegas and now have some free time, I would highly recommend you take a trip out to the Grand Canyon. You can arrange for a day trip through most hotels and it is truly magnificent. Some of the tours include the Skywalk which extends out over the canyon.
