Maybe its just me but I don't think there's anything depressing about the stones playing the warhorses. They are the greatest rock & roll songs ever written & it makes me feel good just to know that the boys are out there kicking ass after all this time. They pretty much priced me out of seeing them unless they come to my hometown. In lieu of that I'll groove on Brown Sugar

I'm a big Elvis fan but I have to admit he peaked pretty early. His original sun recordings are some of the best rock & roll ever recorded. But to paraphrase KR it's not an Elvis record it's a Scotty Moore record. I've always thought it was more of a cultural thing than a musical thing with Elvis.

Bad brains,Minor Threat,DOA,Dead Kennedys,Black flag.....early 80's hardcore was the music of my youth. I still listen to it all the time. The Stones turned me on to reggae & blues when I was a kid. In '78 when the stones were touring & people were saying some girls was punk influenced I gave it (punk) a listen & once again the stones changed my life!

I won a costume contest on halloween 1986 as Mick Jagger. purple sequin jacket & sparkly eye shadow. Also... Keith owes the gas company in KCMO several hundred dollars from 1984. I didn't need any kind of ID or anything for my utility bills back then so they were all in his name. I hope he never decides to move here because his name is gonna ring all kind of bells with the local utility

I went to the second day in Boulder. my first stones show. I remember when Heart was on, 2 helicopters flew in & landed backstage & everyone, assuming it was the stones, lost patience with heart & started shouting for the stones. I was 16 years old & I hitch-hiked from KC to Boulder to see them. Later I bought tix for Cedar Falls @ $125 each. Then they added the 2 shows in KC late
