Johan Olav Koss is a legend. Koss and Eric Heiden are the best speed skaters ever, I admit, but you won't get medals for history. And if ever in the very far future Holland will be reshaped with mountains and fjords (?), due to earthquakes and moving continents, I'm sure they will beat Norway in all ski disciplines... But for now: congretulations with that first golden medal.

Cheaper tickets won't happen, at least not as long as Amsterdam-2 isn't sold out. To announce a third would mean competition for Amsterdam. And even if Amsterdam-2 is sold out, ticketprices won't be a lot cheaper. Probably around 90 euro. Still too expensive for a lot of Dutch. Sorry Wuudy, but Landgraaf (1999) may have a capacity of some 80,000, but they weren't there that concert. I figure about 40-45,000. But this doesn't really changes your point of the decline in attendance in Holland.
