What? I never heard that. There is a version of Love Is Strong in which Keith sings?

Keiths vocals on Memory Motel and Salt Of The Earth is super. I would love to hear more of that kind in future Stones songs.

Keiths songs in the conserts is known as the time to take a piss. That´s a shame I think. Maybe Mick should join in more instead of just leaving the stage.

Yep...if my memory serves me correctly (I am at work and my CDs aren't!)...the Disc 1 Voodew Brew version of Love is Strong has Keith as lead (only??) vocalist with essentially the same musical tracks.

Lyrically slightly different in that, instead of singing ALL the printed and subsequently released lyrics, he sings MANY of them and then just "makes Keith noise"...meandering vocals (not singing the lyrics) in tune and over the tune.

I am sure that's what I recall.....anyone? I remember thinking at the time, and when I last played it (years ago) that "this is pretty damn cool!".

Check out "Keith's Voodoo Lounge Outtakes". Almost the whole CD (LIS, Sparks, YGMR, etc.) with Keith singing. If you can't get it, let me know on here. It's good stuff.

Eeeeeh, I think you're wrong about Love Is Strong. Perhaps you are thinking about Sparks Will Fly?
My Voodoo Brew is on the 4th floor, and I'm in the basement, so I can't check it out.

Is there an elevator to the 4th floor? I am 30 MILES from my house and at work so I can't check it out now....

I know my memory ain't what it used to be, but I still think Love is Strong has Keith as lead vocal on disc 1 of Brew...........sounds even more "dark' with his growl than with Mick's 'normal' vocal......that's what I think I remember......
