QuoteRollingFreak I'm really hoping this is true. My favorite Stones album and IMO is desperately in need of a remaster and deluxe edition. If it's a remaster you're after you cant go wrong with the 2011 Japan flat transfer - available on SHM-SACD and SHM-CD. I've never heard the album sound so good, and I can almost gaurentee that a new version will be brick walled and be

Bobby sat out the last sydney show, and the sax solo in brown Sugar was laughable. I think Tim played it. He's just got that certain something that no one else does.

QuoteMacnee2 Quotejammingedward How do you get a refund and repurchase? I thought tickets were non refundable? Would love to trade my lucky dip for pit tickets for Perth 2! Ticketek says you can phone upgrade but must be original cardholder for refund and purchase of new seats. Thanks I might give them a call tomorrow and try!

I think he's there to 'support' Bobby by the sounds of that article. At his Melbourne show earlier this year Bobby certainly looked old and needed frequent breaks. But was still bloody awesome when he was playing!

I loved his sharp Keith-styled rhythms. Co-Wrote some killer tunes too. Very sad news.

Wow. Tonight's show at The Palias was simply magical. A world away from last years show I saw in the USA- which was great too, but wasn't mesmerising from start to finish. He is really on form at the moment. (Stones played there in '65 and '66 for those interested. I believe Brian was involved in some altercation on the stage there too).

Good to hear! I'm going to all 4 Melbourne shows next week- been to every Oz tour since '92 with the exception of 2011 when I had to give up my 2nd and 5th row seats due to last minute surgery (I almost turned the surgery down so I wouldn't miss it! But then logic took over and I decided I probably didn't want to be put back on the wait list for another 2 years or more) Any

Ronnie is an AMAZING guitar player- fluid, creative, melodic, sympathetic and responsive. He adds so much colour and a beautiful natural feel to The Stones sound. And the there is the Faces. Wow. Possibly the most underrated guitarist in the history of rock n roll.

QuoteLittleRockFitToTop Quotejammingedward Memphis Pyramid. My first ever Stones show. Wow. That show was such a party! Love seeing the Stones in Memphis. It was so cool to hear "I Got the Blues" performed that night. Also great to hear "Some Girls" and "When the Whip Comes Down." Great setlist, great atmosphere. The whole crowd was on their feet dancing sin

There's still single seats available to those 3 shows you mentioned via the official sites I believe? My sister in law paid $370 for a seat at Hanging Rock only a week or two ago. Her only other option was a GA ticket for double face value at $320 on via go go. So for $50 more she got a seat and peace of mind owning a legit ticket. There is also a bigger risk for the Aussie shows- promot

Hi MarthaTuesday I'm not sure if the A380 double story planes operate from Heathrow but I flew one on Qantas from la to Melbourne- booked a bulkhead seat in top floor section for an extra $25 on the website. The top level only has about 40 economy seats so it is very quiet, the service is prompt and toilets stay clean. The bulkhead spot at the front gives a little extra leg room. I felt like

I read a funny interview where Ryan said Whiskeytown were recording their final album 'Pneumonia' in the same studio at the same time as the Stones were recording BTB. He said he would bump into Keith in the bathroom at the same regular intervals because they were obviously drinking the same amounts. Keith would often remark "It's like rush hour in here" and laugh with h

If you do go to the Hunter Valley show, spend some time in Newcastle and travel up the coast - some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. You could've even do Sydney-Hunter-Brisbane in a week long Stones road trip!

QuoteNate Hi I'm thinking of coming down under from the UK in November to see 2 or 3 shows I would like to base myself in Sydney so would love to get tickets for Sydney, hope estate and maybe one other show Melbourne or Brisbane. I don't have any tickets so I was wondering what the chances are of picking up tickets outside the venue on the night are as these are smaller venues than the

QuoteThru and Thru Even though I have been a Stones fan since 1964 for a number of reasons the NS Tour was the first time I actually saw them live. I went to three shows in 1999, Anaheim, Kansas City and Las Vegas and regardless of which show was the best, etc. the Stones impressed me so much that I have seen them 57 times since then. Health and logistics reasons prevented me from seeing any sh

The thing is they don't have to cater us hardcore fans by playing lesser known songs at the risk of alienating the 99%.... They have enough hits and great well known songs they rarely play and if they did this they would still be able to mix up the set and please everyone! Case in point - the song vote- any of those 5 or 6 songs could be played at most points in the set and still bring th
