Quotemattleeuk As a very limited set with a signed art print it is worth more than £150 IMHO. However this project isn't being done by a profit driven organisation but by a collective of people who love Ronnie and his work and want to produce quality products. I trust many will agree that the Ambassadors boxed set is fantastic. It would also be hard to dispute its value as the few that

Taylor was "bullied" no more than Bill was, or Ronnie has been. It's "the Mick and Keith Show", when all is said and done. Like Taylor, Bill and Ronnie have both expressed frustration at the lack of acknowledgement of their contributions. (Anyone notice a pattern here?) I think Taylor is an artist, musician, and guitarist first and foremost, and at that time he felt st

QuoteBritney QuoteErik_Snow QuoteHarm Quotealimente Wot? £150? For 5 tracks? One new one not even sung by Ronnie? That's CASH FOR TRASH! What about the signed stuff? If you consider Ronnie Wood to be a treasured.....painter or artist.....and that he's a value for the the art in this century....then I guess one can say the price is allright. For those of us who don't value him a

I wish they would release a "Stones Only" (preferably BluRay) disk. Seems strange to market this as "The Rolling Stones" and still include Tom Jones, Muppets, etc., which I personally have no desire to see.

QuoteTheDailyBuzzherd He's another one, too ... though his ego is nearly as frustrating as Beck's. But Beck has shown great humbleness in recent years; he's mellowing, hard as that is to be believed. Shore wish I attended his R'n'R Party ... should've been the show of the year. I saw Jeff's Les Paul R&R Party at the Beacon and, as always when I've see

Jeff is a brilliant guitarist but his style is definitely not suited to "the ancient art of weaving". He has always been wound very tight and I seriously doubt that he could interact with the Glimmers for any length of time, especially in the immediate post-Taylor era. When he recently alluded to a possible collaboration, I think it was the classic Beck tongue-in-cheek sarcasm at work.

QuoteTeddyB1018 Those bonus features on the DVD/BluRay sound great to me. The DVD/CD Live in Texas set (assuming the CD is the soundtrack) is as good a package as the Stones have ever offered in terms of value. Well, the BluRay alone is $14.99 but the BluRay/CD combo package is $31.50. $16 is kind of steep for a CD these days. I have the Handsome Girls boot, which has suited me fine over the ye

Too bad there's no footage of the early Stones show at Blackpool where someone in the crowd was spitting at Keith and Keith kicked him in the face. A riot ensued, during which all the equipment was destroyed and the Stones fled for their lives. Stu came backstage with pieces of wood, "Here's your guitar...". (I think Keith said all the equipment was borrowed.) As a child,

(New Member - Hello All! Great site,BV!) In my opinion - It's a very simple progression, nothing to write home about. Personally I don't care for collaborations. If Mick is going to "go solo", I'd prefer he actually go solo. Even at his "advanced" (chronological) age, he is much more charismatic than the other members of this band (none of whom I care to
