[email protected] Quotestupidguy2 Whoo oooh oooh.... It was a #3 song, one of their most successful singles, and they played it for the first time. Why on earth would anyone eject? YES! From reading all the posts, guess I'm in the minority about ER. I really love this song. Just thought it didn't translate well live last night. Maybe after a few more plays I'll change my

QuoteRollin92 Quotetriceratops I am agreeing with other posters here-- In three recent interviews Keith made happy talk about about how great it will be to have three guitars up on stage. To better emulate all the guitars used (double tracked etc) on most Stones cuts. But going by the rehearsal setlists and no Mick Taylor seen yet.... It does not look good for MickT to have a larger role onstag

The reason I mentioned McCartney is because, unlike the Stones, he is in fact apparently selling out his shows. Those $2000 front row packages are all front row seats (no dinner) and only on stage right and stage left (no center). So it's a limited quantity and they appear to be gone. The $1500 packages are similar to the Pit but it's assigned seating. And, yes, there is only 1 of h

Macca is playing 2 shows at Barclay's and his top price (not incuding Premium deals) is $350. General on-sale was yesterday and apparently it is already very difficult to pull one up. Still, if you check the boards on his site, his fans are very ticked off at being "priced out". I guess everything is relative. There are also almost 4000 tickets for each show on stubhub. Curious t

At MSG during the last tour Mick said something to the effect of "So nice to see parents here with their children. Sort of like taking them into an enormous bong!"

"In 30 years, when Mick Jagger and Keith Richards are either dead and buried, or are liquid-preserved human heads running a cybernetic body, how badly will you want to tell your (grand-) kids that yes, you saw the real Rolling Stones live?" Mick is 70 and if anyone can live past 100 it's him. All bets are off with Keith but as he once said about his legendary resilience - "

If Boston and Philly sell out quickly, one would expect at least one NYC date. The model in November-December 2012 was "Crappy single seats for panic buyers released first", then "Good seats on StubHub for crazy prices", then "Good seats released in drips and drabs for holdouts".

Saw them at the Fillmore East in 1971. Ten Wheel Drive and Luther Allison were the openers. They were great and the light show (which sometimes gave me a migraine) complimented their music nicely. If I recall correctly, Kay played a Dan Armstrong plexiglass at that show.
