The reason being is because the population of the races I mentioned - Latino, Asian and African - is growing quickly while the white (European descent) population who makes up the majority of Stones fans is not. Therefore,in 100 years from now the world will likely be populated by people who will have no connection whatever to the music of therStones, the Beatles, or to 20th Century rock music in

I was at McCartney's show at the Apollo Theater in NYC a few days ago and it sure didn't feel like it was his "swansong."He was in a great mood and full of energy, and seemed to really enjoy doing a show in a smaller place he had never played before. Which in this case (like at the 100 Club) happened to be in a historic theater in front of an intimate audience of fans, friends

Let Mick's management know about the error. His lawyers will sue the company that makes the game and bankrupt them so nobody will make that mistake again.

Has Mick ever been in a relationship - or even slept with - a woman over 50? I don't think so. He will trade in L'Wren in a few years once she reaches her expiration date and hook up with someone else much younger...like Ronnie did.

U2 stayed here too while doing the photo shoot for the cover of "The Joshua Tree" album nearby. Joni Mitchell used to stay there as well. I wonder what kind of income the place brings in annualy?

And Andy Js, who's to say McCartney DIDN"T donate some of his own money towards saving the 100 Club? He might have chosen to make a private contribution.

Well, assuming there is still a planet Earth with human beings in 100 years from now it will most likely be inhabited by mainly Asian, Hispanic and African people. So, except for a few music historians (and maybe a few odd-balls who like to dress up like hippies and pretend they are living back in the 1960's, ala Renaisaance Faire types) it's likely the Stones - and even Elvis and The B

This show must have been great. You have to hand it to Macca....even for a little club date (in the afternoon no less!) he does a 26-song/2 hour set. We'll be lucky to get an 18-song set next tour. I wish the Stones would do more of these kind of semi-spontaneous things. On another note, it looks like Ronnie is now a Macca groupie. He goes from never having seen him perform before, to see

Keith seems to be saying basically the same thing in each of the interviews I've seen recently. He seems to have his script down pat by now he could say it in his sleep. At least he seems sincere and interested...unlike Mick who seems to want to make a game with every interview.

QuoteJustin Nice, TornandFried. I wonder what Keith thought of the show. Keith looked like he was enjoying himself...as did Ronnie. Ron said in an interview before the show that it was actually the first time he's ever seen McCartney play...which seems incredible.

I was at the McCartney show at the Apollo and it was great seeing Sir Paul in such an intimate setting. I saw Keith & Patti, and Ronnie was with his latest young model/goldigger. Keith looked happy and healthy and seemed to be sporting a suntan. Ron looked healthier than he has in years. Sobriety seems to be working wonders for him. Patti looked healthy as well. Also at the show were Chuck Le
