"When you call my name, I'm Pavlov's Dog." How nasty is this? But seriously: a tattoo is a for a life time. Think about it twice before you do it! Nowadays everyone seems to have a tattoo under 30 (and above 18). I see tattoos that obviously mean nothing to the person who has it. Make it count! If your daughter really wants a tattoo she has to be a 100% confident that th

Quotebye bye johnny Roger McGuinn, Chris Hillman, and Marty Stuart’s exclusive one-hour Sweetheart of the Rodeo radio special premieres Friday, July 13 at 8 pm ET. Tune in to hear them reflect on the landmark album, including the addition of the late Gram Parsons to the band, and the Byrds infamous performance at the Grand Ole Opry in 1968, along with tracks from the album and original versions

Thanks for the recording! And another thank you goes out for your review of your trip to Prague. A fun read. Just out of curiosity, did Uber do anything about the crazy driver? And how was your previous trip to Budapest compared to the trip to Prague?

About noisy photos. If you scan through the pics posted in the Prague review it's clear that the best quality pics were taken by Hendrik Mulder. Kudos! They seem to be the least noisy. I wonder what camera was used...

Nice photos. I was wondering if there's a digital camera that produces less noisy pics using ISO800 (in a concert setting). All the pics posted here are a bit noisy for my liking.

Thanks a lot! Nothing beats the first two Pretty Things LP's, no better rhythm and blues record from The Stones nor from The Who nor The Yardbirds nor The Animals during those years. The Pretty Things were way ahead of all other bands playing R&B. Too bad they recorded a terrible follow-up to their 2nd album.

Pretty much sold out. I hope they learn their lesson and double the ticket prices for the next tour.

Thanks for the replies, EddieByword, j.b. goode, stonesmuziekfan! I really appreciate it. I also found a simple way: put dl after www. in the address bar, and hit enter, choose the resolution you want and there you go... It might redirect you to an advert, but after a few clicks you'll get what you need. Frankie

Rockman! Thanks for the IP/AB conversation. I wish it was longer... A good interview is a conversation. For some reason AB was great at having a loose, but centered conversation in a very simple way. An every-day guy you don't meet every day. I saw him in Seth Meyers' show a few months ago. And I remember thinking that he didn't look too well... We lost Keith Emerson, a wo

I had to read the name twice, before I realized that my eyes did not deceived me. I loved how straight forward, brutally honest, and open he was. And I still love it... And he was critical. Critical about American food, which he still loved so much. Now he is God's chef. Cheers to you!

At the Stones concert in Macau a few years back it was pretty tense. The only merch booth was inside the venue, so first you needed to go through the casino and then the security check, then you entered arena and what a sight it was! 100's of people waiting in line at the merch booth. I stood in line for an hour when people started to scream as the concert was about to start. The most inexpe

Hey, Stoners! This has been discussed here, but I just couldn't find the thread... If you wanted to download something from YouTube and save it on your PC, I remember that you have to add something after www. and then continue with youtube.com/..... and hit enter. What is it that I need to add to the link of the video I 'd like to save? Please help, all you smart people!

Stuart's guitars also include 'Clarence', the familiar two-tone Fender Telecaster, once owned by Clarence White. This instrument, either a '54 or '56 (different sources) is the original B-Bender guitar, built by White and Gene Parsons around 1967, designed to allow the guitarist to manually raise the guitar's 'B' string one whole step to play pedal steel st

QuoteRocky Dijon "Until the next one" made me laugh. Interesting remarks. I'd love to hear more from him. The article itself has a few gems: on Morrissey: "He was a man of very few words and actually most of the words he uses he steals." When saying "until the next one" did he mean that Steel Wheels was even worse than DW? I don't like DW production

Is this thread about the recent live version or the studio track??? I guess it is about the recent live version. I think 99.9% would agree that the studio track is a classic. It also seems that the consensus is that the live versions of the past 15 years aren't a favorite. Bass solo, long extended performances. I love the tightness of the original album track, and even the remix

I have no idea who ReelStone is, however, I find your comments very unsettling and in places rude. And the bigger problem is that you seem to enjoy getting personal with people who contributed so much to this site. "Leak" means an intentional disclosure of secret information. I don't see the reason why someone couldn't share newly discovered outtakes with others. Is a 30 ye
