Looking forward to watching tonight's game. I'll be rooting for Villanova. Not exactly sure why. Recommendation: If y'all missed the women's final four games and final... Go find and watch the rebroadcasts. All four #1 seeds made the final four. Both semifinals games went to overtime. Notre Dame won both their semifinal and the championship game with last second sh

QuoteKoen Calling someone a red neck is racist? Seeing as it's almost never used as a compliment (outside of self-identification) and the people being referred to by the use of the term are generally thought to be of one specific skin color, I can see how people could see the term as a racist slur. Jeff Foxworthy's "You Might Be A Redneck" comedy routine (as referenced b

QuoteBungo The Osbornes will lose this one. Anschutz Entertainment Group can make any booking terms it wants. No one is forcing you to accept them. The Osbornes may lose but, if you notice in the release above, this is an "antitrust action" filed by "an antitrust specialist". The results will be appealed until one side decides it's not worth the money to keep fighting.

Enjoyed the games last night and will look forward to tonight. Re: My Bracket: I'm now down to only TWO teams remaining. The only one I had picked for last night, lost. Of course. Thanks for nothing, Gonzaga! If my bracket is any indication, putting money on Duke & KU TO LOSE might be a good bet to place tonight as I've picked both of them to win. Could be the first year

What a horrible weekend as far as my bracket is concerned. I don't think I've ever had a year where I picked so poorly. According to ESPN I got 17.1% right. With a chance for 320 "points" per round, after two rounds I have a total of 310 and, with 1280 more points available, I can get only 440 if all of my remaining picks do just as I had planned! Out of 16 remaining teams

12-4 for me yesterday. Lost AZ, SDS, SFA, NCS Although I am tied for points in my office pool, on guy has the opportunity to earn more points in the future than I do so I'm considering him ahead of me. Couldn't believe Houston pulled it out on SDS. I was feeling good about that upset for most of the game. Can't complain too much about AZ... I just picked the wrong 14 seed whe

QuoteLeonioid Quotekeefriffhard4life QuoteLeonioid Quotekeefriffhard4life some good games this weekend already Lat night was a great finish... so brutal for the non-winner, especially being (supposed) 11 seeds. I don't quite understand why they would brutalize 11 seeds like that. 14-15 seeds yeah... but 11s? But it did make for a good game there is some rule about seeding . something li

Enjoying your pictures Snoopy2... And the history/geography lessons! Until above in the thread, I never realized that the same river that surrounds my neighborhood on three sides also passes through Muscle Shoals. Google Maps says it's 256 miles (4:10) to drive from my house to Muscle Sholes Sound Studios. Looking at the map, the river would be just a bit farther in mileage... No detail

Quotetriceratops Quotestonehearted He is with the universe now... But how did he live so long with Lou Gehrig's disease, when Gehrig didn't even make it to his forties? Lou Gehrig did not have Lou Gehrig's disease. Think about it. fwiw I think the big bang theory of Hawking (mostly) is ridiculous. I really enjoyed Hawking's guest appearances on The Big Bang Theory.

I'm with you, Leonioid. In the past I used to take Thursday & Friday of this week off from work so I could watch basketball with my Mom for four straight days as well as going to a few of the women's games which were hosted here in Knoxville. I was trying to get home to watch the games at Mom's house this year but couldn't get the time away from work. I watched the tw

QuoteDrPete Satisfaction - Britney Spears - The Rolling Stones... lmfao... sadly there are probably a few teenage girls this is true for I almost mentioned Satisfaction due to the large number of people in the 60's who thought it was an Otis Redding song that the Stones covered. One I left off my list (that drove me crazy for a while in the mid 90's) was "Dixie Chicken" a

Had a chat with a buddy of mine about the Rodeo "taking" the stage idea from the Stones. He pointed out that, while the idea of the moving parts of the stage is clearly similar, the "Texan" in him pointed out something that, in his eyes, makes the two stages quite different: The Stones stage had six points and was supposedly representing a lotus flower. The Rodeo stage on
