Billy Preston improved EVERY band he played with. I saw him with the Stones in Cleveland in 1975. His "That's the Way God Planned It" performance at Concert for Bangaladesh was a show stopper. He's sometimes called the Fifth Beatle, especially for his contributions to Let It Be album and was instrumental touring with Eric Clapton shortly before he died. RIP.

One of, if not THE, greatest American songwriters. Sounds of Silence, Bridge..., Boxer, Homeward Bound, America, Still Crazy..., American Tune and SO MANY more incredible songs/stories.
