Cool to see those pics from 1974. Thanks guys! Awesome! It's also fun to see Mick Taylor really participate and smile on those promo videos like; It's Only Rock n Roll, Ain't Too Proud to Beg, Till The Next Goodbye. And to think that this would be his last year with the Stones.

I think I will go in January. Much easier for me. Although it's gonna be a long ride from Rotterdam to Groningen. But I love it. Did this before for the Bowie expo. Great museum by the way, Groninger Museum.

QuoteTheflyingDutchman They parted ways. Only explanation. Come on! Don't be like that! Every member of the band was an important part of the whole history!! From Ian Stewart to Brian Jones. From Mick Taylor to Ronnie Wood. Yes, he left the band, but let's not forget his amazing guitar play, his important role between 1969 and 1974 in music, the timing when he joined the band. I h

O, I still really dislike Hang Fire so much. I can't stand that song!! LOL Diamond Dog, I dig your vibe on Hang Fire - loathed

I think this was shown many times before, but was the story behind this photo?? It must be around 1976 ? Taylor wasn't in the band no more. Where was this? And what was happening here?

Quotecaschimann QuoteDiamondDog7 Maybe I will start a new thread which contains mostly DISLIKES. No. This would be boring. We had this before. And before. This "Changing your mind through the years"-idea here is nice. Ah ok.

Yeah, this track was too long for my taste and I didn't the backstory of it. But now the volume will be raised on my headphones. ;-)

Quoteexilestones Keith Richards with Italian-born German actress Anita Pallenberg at the Kilburn State Gaumont Theatre, London for one of the final concerts by the Faces, 23rd December 1974. Photo by Graham Wiltshire I saw this photo many times before and I'm still horrified how Keith and Anita were looking during this shot. Scary faces...

Quoteloog droog Quoteryanpow Quoteexilestones Their look on the '75 tour staring to come into shape here. On the "Ain't Too Proud To Beg" video Mick Taylor is doing background vocals and seems a lot more relaxed and assertive than he had ever been before. He looked like an actual full-fledged Rolling Stone instead of a quiet virtuoso choirboy. (See his caricature o

Dear people, MICK TAYLOR is the one holding the mask in front of his face, right next to Brian. Ronnie explained this somewhere. Don't remember where.

Quoteryanpow This year seemed like kind of an off year for them somehow. Indeed. 1974 wasn't a great year for the Stones I think. Mick and Keith were working with Ronnie Wood for his 1st solo album. Bill Wyman was busy with his own solo album Monkey Grip. Keith Richards was spending time with Ronnie a lot. Mick Taylor wasn't happy with the decisions within the band. He

QuoteMathijs QuoteDiamondDog7 Come on, guys! Let's keep it to the subject: Rolling Stones 1974!! please. Let's make it even more difficult: Mick did a guest appearance with Billy Preston in London in 1973 where they did Shine a Light.... Post pictures of that event! Mathijs hahahaha I really would love that one. But unfortunately, that's a difficult one.

VERY cool!!! Awesome. Modern design with loads of photos and information about an album/period. That's why I love the Stones. Can't wait to see the other albums. But I have to be careful with the interface; don't make it too flashy or too fancy. People will be lost in the experience. ;-) And...I almost forgot... more Mick Taylor please (when it comes to 1969-1974)!
