Filler! Nothing special! Throwaway song! Lyrics are garbage and the song isn't that good. But hey, it's matter of taste.

I never was a big fan of The Golden Earring or other Dutch bands like Kane, Di-Rect, Kensington, Handsome Poets etc etc. BUT I always have the greatest respect for The Golden Earring for what they have achieved in music history. Very sad news about the guitar player.

QuoteMidnight Toker It is a crime that this song has never been played live. My favorite KR song! So much soul. I prefer ballads than his uptempo songs. Except Happy! ;-)

QuoteDandelionPowderman QuoteDiamondDog7 QuoteGasLightStreet It's interesting to me that GOATS HEAD SOUP got a second life because of Giles Martin remixing it plus the extra material. What might be more interesting is that nothing else got that treatment. Sure, EXILE has the crumbs of extras and SOME GIRLS a little more and the same with STICKY FINGERS. But new life into an album? QuoteSilver Dagger 1968 - Electric Ladyland. Sonically and songwise streets ahead of anything else. 1969 - Let It Bleed. Abbey Road runs a close second but is let down by a few duffers on side 1. 1971 - Sticky Fingers/Who's Next tie at No 1. 1972 - Exile On Main Street. Nothing else comes near. 1968 - Electric Ladyland 1969 - Tommy 1970 - Bitches Brew 1971 - What's G

My first record of the Stones was Rewind, and then More Hot Rocks, Sticky Fingers. On cassette! I've played those cassettes over and over again. The sound is totally destroyed by now! LOL My favorite Stones periods are with Brian Jones and Mick Taylor.

QuoteTheflyingDutchman Why is it that you're less interested in the post Black & Blue Stones may I ask ? Good question. I do love Black and Blue. Sometimes I do listen to Tattoo You. But nothing else besides that. But I just love the sound and vibe from Brian Jones and especially Mick Taylor. I love MT's guitarplay very much and the whole style during that era. Ronnie Wo
