QuoteDoxa Consulted my memory and Gazza's set list site. Some positive points: - 23 songs. That's more than usual (since A Bigger Bang Tour it's been, say, 18-20 tunes typically). This seems to be an important feature for some people. - they started with "Get Off of My Cloud". That was an unique thing at the time before they stuck back to the 'obvious' op

The new single is great, a totally unexpected surprise.

OT but the Stones are missing a big trick in not releasing all of the live shows they've been recording for years. What's the point in recording them just to keep them hidden away? The market for these shows dwindles with each passing year.

Quotewhitem8 Why in the hell don't they release the Some Girls deluxe on vinyl! I love the bonus disc, and actually they could have released that as a separate album ala Tattoo You! It is so good! Especially, Fiji Jim! ROCKIN! Hardly worth it for the 10 people on IORR who will buy it.

Yes. I've got the complete Largo show but the sound and video quality is appalling. But higher quality does exist - watch the clip of BTMMR from Knebworth that featured on 25x5. Knebworth and San Diego are on YT but incomplete.

They should play a few of their solo tunes live. Or is that a taboo subject for the principals?!

If they've all got the energy and motivation, it's always possible. More far-flung locations could become less appealing with age. Who knows? If they tour, they tour.

QuoteGasLightStreet U2 is possibly starting a tour in June of 2023, with several shows scattered throughout the tour at the MSG Sphere starting in the late fall in November. Apparently there's also one being built in London. It will make the iMax theatres a joke. Yes they are building an MSG Sphere in Stratford, east London.

I wasn't there but lovely to read that they are still so passionate about their shows and throw all their energy into it.

Quotefloodonthepage I used to love the RHCP. Played the hell out of Blood Sugar Sex Magik for years. I saw them in 2000 with the Foo Fighters as opener. A show for the ages. But I don't own any of their stuff anymore and I'd put them on a list (if I were to make a list) of "bands you used to love but now don't ever listen to anymore". I'm not completely sure why t

Quotesbetz What's the consensus? I'm kind of tired of live albums of recent tours as their sound hasn't changed much in decades. But would be nice for a live version of, 'Out Of Time' if nothing else... Steve I hope there is live release. Sixty is such a landmark.

QuoteNikkei It's becoming a bit exhausting to see this. Like a contractual requirement he's got to fulfill to be allowed onstage with the cool guys It looked cheesy the first time I saw him do it. Now he's still doing it.

I like to seperate a band's music from the personalities. It's why I couldn't give a hoot about where Mick lives or if Keith is still off the fags or any of the other pathetic tabloid dramas people latch on to. And let's face it. none of us know what Mick and Keith are really like because we only get to see their public persona. We just fill in the (very big) gaps with

Quotekeefriffhards QuoteCaptain Jack Sparrow Quotekeefriffhards Quotesjs12 It makes no sense that people are saying that CYHMK was badly played in one breath and then too short in another! If it was played that badly surely you would want it to be as short as possible? Anyway, in my opinion it was especially well played by Keith and Ron did a reasonably good job on the solo. I like the fact i

It was a superb show. Got into the Diamond area for 6, had a few beers and still got right up by the rail and had a great time with two lovely American ladies.

London Bridge is a major train station next to the bridge. From London Bridge station, get the Jubilee Line (tube) westbound to Green Park. Change at Green Park to the Piccadilly Line (tube) westbound to Hyde Park Corner.

QuoteTumlin73 QuoteTumlin73 I’m planning to park outside London and catch a tube in ( strike allowing ) somewhere around Edgeware to get a tube straight into Russell Square to my hotel. Anybody know any decent cheap parking places or if there is anywhere better/nearer places? My Mrs is convinced we will be able to catch the train on the Friday, but I think it will be effected. Apologies f
