That last look he gave this band's "Keith Richard"s was more like "I've showed the riff 16 times already and you still can't get it right"! Bill needs to sell a few more of those Roman coins he finds and quit lowering himself to this crap!

I kind of lumped them in with Air Supply. I think they started with hopes of being an Australian CSNY on their early releases and then they went way to poppy for my tastes.

Quotesusannewortmann Blu Ray is the only way to do this masterpiece justice! I HAVE Ladies & Gentlemen as discussed here somewhere and it IS 35mm print! I traveled around to get it tranfered to DVD (also posted that about 2-3 years ago) but it was financially impossible. The sheet info says it was shot on 35mm aswell so you can say wrong many times but I still say its 35mm. My original 35mm w

I think Paul Stanley is being too influenced by Gene Simmons and the Kiss as a business philosophy. For as long as they have been together, they have not released that many albums, you would think they would like to mix it up on occassion and throw in something new.

Quoteswiss Wikipedia says Clapton wrote Bell Bottom Blues for Patti Boyd, based on her having asked him to buy her a pair of bell bottoms from the United States when he was there. That would have been around 1969. I'm guessing Mick later lifted the phrase from Clapton. - swiss Makes sense that Clapton wrote it about Patti Boyd. Pretty imaginative phrase.

I would like to hear a 30 second medley of "You Got Me Rockin/Start Me Up to open the show, so we could have those out of the way quickly. Then I would like to hear a 6 minute jam medley of Slave/Hot Stuff.

Maybe this has been asked before....Is "Bell Bottom Blues" slang for something in the UK? Just thinking famous Clapton song and lyric in an incredible Stones song, Does it just mean having the blues over lost love? Curious as to the origin.

QuoteMore Hot Rocks I beleive this video appeared on Don Kirshner's rock concert TV show in 1974. It looks like it. I think the sets were very different from Midnight Special, but those two shows were the only place to watch rock and roll on TV in the 70s. Someone used to do a parody of Don Kirshner on Saturday Night Live, I think it was Paul Schaffer(Letterman band leader).

Just put on a a solid, professional show like they did when I saw them on the ABB tour in SLC. Add an unexpected song or two and there you go. They do need to get on with it though as time is not on their side anymore.

Quotewhiskey If that was Charlie, considering his age, I would put that pic in the mid 50s and the girls dress length and hairstyles dont seem to come from that era. Of course I stand to be corrected. Looks like early 70s with those styles. I dont see Charlie. I think we have been bamboozled

QuoteBarn Owl I'm not much of a fan of Rod & the Faces, but their version of Angel is the definitive one for me. ...a beautiful rendition, and so nice to hear Ronnie turned up loud. I always like their version of Maybe Im Amazed more than McCartneys...Again, Ronnies solo is amazing and they gave the song a little more toughness.

Play the damn thing. It does not seem like a real complex song. I love Taylors tone, but I think Ronnie can handle the lead lines.

Ron Isley was released from prison for tax evasion earlier this year. Ernie Isley is the other one left. I am not sure if they are back together as a group. Marvin died in June, but he had been retired for quite a few years due to diabetes. Incredible group...I think they have not been together in some capacity for six decades.

Quoteletitloose Quotecc Quoteletitloose Paint it black. Never understood the appeal of this one. It was always the Stones song on the Jukebox in student union bars. It was the "cool" song that fans of The Cure or any other indie pish would love. you just explained the appeal. Ok fair enough. I just thought it was the song that was liked by people who only wanted one Stones song in t

Quote71Tele QuoteMore Hot Rocks Quote71Tele QuoteMore Hot Rocks Shattered or just about anything from Some Girls. What's the deal with the sudden outpouring of Some Girls hostility? This topic gives us a chance to tell it like it is. Some people hate ABB some people love it. Same goes true fro Some Girls. It's all subjective....to a point. I see it as kind of a Some Girls Revision

The opening documentary that screened before the film was newly created by someone else at Warners made specifically for last night's event and had no help from Scorcese.
