I'm wearing the t shirt and loving the double CD. Amazing achievement to get another No 1 this late in the game. I'm proud of them and grateful for so many years of music.

Quotestickyfingers101 QuoteEddieByword QuoteGasLightStreet This article is excellent about a part of it (can someone please explain just what the hell this word "maths" means? Who the hell talks like that? Maths? WHAT THE HELL IS MATHS?): Funny......the first time I heard the expression 'math', I thought, "listen, forget the maths mate, you wanna learn to speak Eng

May his memory be eternal. Condolences to Sister D and all his family and loved ones but how wonderful to have been so loved and valued and to have shared his love of life and music with so many others.

Quotetiffanyblu Actually the live stream proved to quite a revival for our boys: * Charlie and Charlies airdrum both went viral and draw attention in media * All four was on the top 40 most googled during the weekend (Mick on an impressive place #5) * Articles/journalists agree that Stones performance was top notch. Even bad reviews about the gala wrote that the ”Stones stream” was top class

Mick was in very good voice and it was lovely to see them all. It was a decent song choice for the circumstances.

He was clearly quite emotional at moments in that reading. He seems to be in a good place these days with his family. Sally has been the right woman at the right time.

Joining the biggest of big thanks to BV and to all who have contributed reviews and photos. I don't post a lot but it has been great to follow the tour by reports. I've loved BV's blog of his travelling adventures as always.

Very happy to hear they are back and it was a great show. Especially to see Mick fit and healthy. The clips I've seen he looks more like his brother Chris than ever before. I do miss Keith's headband.

Quotegrzegorz67 Quoteyorkshirestone Ah time flies a full year since we sang that to him in Coventry on a warm summer night. Happy birthday Charlie! And he was embarrassed as ever My first time in the pit. Happy birthday to the dapper gent of the band. Me too. What an amazing night it was.

Quoteimsohotforher Mick actually had his surgery and is recovering in London. His “people” and media are trying to throw off fans and publishing info about NYC. I have reliable sources in London that saw him at Royal Brompton hospital in London. Anyone else? Yes.

QuoteGJV QuoteGreen Lady Still here, watching new people having the old arguments - don't often feel I have anything new worth saying. For me most of the time if I say something nobody responds, if later somebody, who is one of the IORR innercrowd guys, is saying the same thing on the next page and people react like he is saying "the best thing ever told", and if that happens mo

This has been rumoured since mid week, but I didn't believe it with all the talk of rehearsals. Hope he makes a full recovery.

I have a very soft spot for "Some Girls" because it was my first Stones LP. It was a revelation for this till then disco-mad teenager brought up in a Beatles and Merseybeat household. Never deviated from Stones love since then. But firmly in the LIB camp if I could only own one LP or have to recommend one as the best intro to my heroes.

It took me a long time to get over that walk and the price of the taxi back from Vauxhall in the early hours thanks to the lack of trains!

O2 number 1 - the sheer joy of seeing them still so good after a long gap, and for me, the sentimental pleasure of seeing them with Mick Taylor and Bill again. Coventry and Cardiff both run a close second.

From everything I have read and heard about Mick Jagger I would be very surprised if he had any regrets. He doesn't seem to be a person who willingly looks back let alone wastes time analysing how things that are in the past might have been different.

It was great to follow some of the shows on here live, the photos were and are awesome, the info in advance of the three shows I attended in person was invaluable. Big thanks to all who posted reviews and especially to BV. Loved his blogs, especially in the UK - always fun to see your country through the eyes of an informed and enthusiastic traveller. Till next time in Europe ...

Quote35love QuoteGasLightStreet Quote35love QuoteDandelionPowderman Quote35love Quote35love QuoteStoneage I think 24FPS is refering to when Wyman left the band. 1990 was Wyman's last tour. I would say, like most, that 68-72 was their peak. Both live and on record. All I’m saying is this 1981 1982 Tattoo You Album and Tours of USA and Europe spiked your peak! This cannot be denied!

To be clear, England (not the UK Glamdes) won the World Cup in 1966. I thought I heard Mick say this (but I could be imagining it I have watched so many Youtube clips this tour) in Coventry.

QuoteGreen Lady Quote35love QuoteHairball A bit OT, but just saw James Bay perform on Saturday Night Live, and have to say it sucked. Not sure how well he was received by Stones fans when opening for the Stones (forget which city), but that might have been a tough one to endure. Yo. Tough to endure? Nah. Young Bay has a very good singing voice. He missed ‘never, never, never’ que on ‘Bea

In the UK it seemed like any form of compact camera was fine but anything with detachable lens was out. Security collared a guy in the pit in front of me at Coventry with a fairly modest zoom lens until he produced some sort of ID from Jeep.
