QuoteTaylor1 QuoteRocky Dijon QuoteNikkei the girl ain't too hot. whats up I think she's very attractive. Personally, I can't imagine the age gap, but it works for them. The thing is, he might actually, you know, think she's intelligent, makes him smile, enjoys her company, loves her. It's not like she's an escort. She is a world class ballerina, which means she has

To be honest, Keith could probably balance a bin lid on his head and look ok. Personally, I'm glad he's going a bit lighter on the guy-liner these days but I think he looks equally good in his beanie or bandana.

I fully respect those whose opinion is that the rhythm section was never as strong post Bill's departure and I've been to and enjoyed several of his other musical enterprises. But I can't help but think it was a good thing for him that Bill had departed the Stones long before "Me too" happened. I just don't think he or the band would have escaped some very tricky r

Sounds like a bit of a logistical nightmare to get to and from. I thought Stade de France was a horrible venue but at least easy to access by public transport. Good luck to all the IORR'ers attending tonight - have a great show.

I can't imagine how they managed to perform in that heat. Extreme temperatures really take an increasing toll as you age. I'm in London, 20 years younger and struggling to do my largely sedentary job in 40 degree temps. Kudos to them and especially Mick, who bears the brunt of the physical hard lifting, but I hope they are sensible about the strains on their bodies.

I only went to Liverpool and HP2. I really enjoyed both - I would have enjoyed Liverpool more if less bothered by obnoxious drunks in the Pit; HP2 - because of recovery from Covid I had to plump for further away at back of Gold but the atmosphere and sound were excellent. The last time I saw them was 2018 - multiple shows on the UK run. My feeling is that Mick is consistently stronger vocally

QuoteProfessorWolf also don't know if anyone noticed but keith's back to the bandanna again I assume its all down to temperature. He obviously feels the cold more these days but if its a very warm evening, the beanie is ditched.

QuoteIrix QuoteNilsHolgersson Charlie's episode doesn't name his cause of death which is a bit weird to me, what documentary about a famous person doesn't do that? Maybe they still don't wanna talk about it and maybe Charlie's biography - - will give a hint. Ronnie has given a big hint - that he visited Charlie at the same hospital and same wing that he was treat

QuoteDoxa Following the band too closely seemingly makes one's life miserable. Every gig always a disappointment. One thing that seems to be forgotten in this stamp collecting culture in which a varied setlist is a value of its own is that any new song for the tour loses its impact pretty soon (after one or two performances). For example, the Stones playing "Out of Time" does no

Was there more said on the night than in the clip? Guy can't help it if he really is ill, but I don't understand why he wouldn't explain and apologise to the audience rather than just storm off. Oasis were always cancelling shows, or Liam not turning up, back even in their heyday. Punch ups, hungover or high or just didn't feel like it.

To be honest, I think they have both done and said things that go beyond the petty but, yes, balanced against a lifelong creative relationship and the time they have left (in all probability) it is good to see some of the warmth and apparent affection creeping back into their stage outings at least.

I feel quite indignant on Ronnie's behalf by some of the comments on this thread. He is an extraordinary musician and an unfailingly optimistic man. Of course, people are entitled to express critical opinions of the band, particularly if they know what they are talking about, but some of the comments are downright inhumane. To me, Ronnie sounded fine, and sometimes very good indeed, in Live

QuoteSomeTorontoGirl First - as was the case 3 weeks ago - there were no signs directing to the Box Office. Lucky Dips are usually at a separate box office, and most staff at the Stadium didn’t know what they even were, let alone where they were. Finally found the place way at the back after walking forever. I was pretty crushed, after having the first show cancelled and coming all this way b

QuoteSomeTorontoGirl I just watched the Charlie episode - beautiful! Such a lovely man and musician, I’m in love and grief all over again. I thought the Charlie one was the best by far. It had a lovely elegiac quality (to sound like the Guardian!). I found the footage of his two friends going through his memorabilia collection in the warehouse and finding his tour teacups unbearably sad and f

QuoteThe Worst. Great, great show. I thought it was better than first one, because the band was more relaxed and seemed to have more fun. People sitting home complaining about set lists, sunglasses (they had the sun in their faces FFS), youtube audio or whatever. Get a grip! Mick was all over the place, much more energetic, relaxed and fun than during the first show. Keith was smiling throughout

I definitely noticed Steve Jordan's coat 'of many colours'. I thought it looked part Union Jack at first but there was also Wimbledon purple and green woven in! He's very different from Charlie on every level.

QuoteMatt1984 Quoterayrad how funny was mick last night too? "welcome to the american express, british summer time, super-spreader covid event!" and introducing ronnie: "buy one of his setlists - he's got a young family to support" great shirt on keith as well - 'do not x-ray' Mick was on terrific form. Loved these comments he made. I thought he see

Even though I missed being up close, I really enjoyed the show and I thought they were all on great form. The sound at the back of Golden Circle was fantastic and the atmosphere relaxed and friendly. I liked having a new opener (for me!) and I enjoyed the LARS singalong. I'm not a huge fan of Angie but it was well appreciated by most. Mick was in good voice though seemed a bit lost with

Quote24FPS Not a word about Bill, his closest mate in the band? Won't be a thick book. He's probably the least scandal free, but for a foray into hard drugs in the 80s. No known groupies. Just a damn good drummer. Was Bill his closest mate in the band? I had the impression, certainly in later years, it was Jagger. They certainly were seen together in London and at sporting events mo
