very good show in Mönchengladbach/Germany yesterday. 16 songs/2 hours QuoteRutger I saw Neil in Groningen on Tuesday […] Hey Hey, My My was terrible though in my opinion. I didn't even recognise it at first. He chose to play it on the electric and it pretty much lost all its subtle charm. he's playing that song electric for ages

QuoteTopi Maybe they were reflecting on the message instead of singing along! GnR's basic message is hedonism and self pitying…

QuoteTopi I'm looking forward to the GNR party a week from now. You know, party music and sheer entertainment! too many (and too long) instrumental parts and some not so well known songs (preventing people from singing along all the time)

another installment of the 'Springsteen paradox' in Gelsenkirchen last night. The man surely has a message (rather more than one) but turns everything into party music and sheer entertainment. Thus the crowd is not enabled to reflect but to party instead. (I really suffered)

Springsteen's lost albums will be released on Friday. On that day he does a show in Gelsenkirchen. Do we think he'll play any of those lost album songs (even without Steve Van Zandt)? btw: I wonder why it took so long until someone at this thread reacted to Steve van Zandt's absence. (Hey Topi, is there somethinh wrong with you?)

QuoteMunichhilton 2 unreleased tracks? They better not dare call that 'deluxe'... In ancient Greek deluxe requires at least 8 tracks think positive! 2 new songs is 25% more songs than on the original release

Quoteloog droog Bob Greene's 1974 book Billion Dollar Baby is a fly on the wall account of the original group on tour and in the studio, and it's depiction of the friction between band members played a role in their break-up at the time. This reunion is heartwarming, but it's ridiculous to expect them to be as good as they were over 50 years ago. Are any of us? me! 50 years a

Quotephd27 Went to the 1st Lille (northen France, border with Belgium). It was a huge performance. 60 000 people in this Stadium. The E Street band sounded incredible. No other act from the 60’s tour anymore except Mc Cartney and Clapton,[…] Dylan, Neil Young, etc…

Quotemikey C Looking at Bob Dylan.com the concert was curtailed after 7 songs…No word on if they will reschedule the show which is probably unlikely…..Not great news for the fans of course…..Fingers crossed.Peace.M Dylan's part of the show was cut short because of high wind alerts (video: ) Thus no need to worry about Dylan

I'd prefer all greatest hits to be cut short (like Springsteen does on his recent tours). 3-4 minutes of JJF, Satisfaction, etc. are enough

Today's Dylan's 84th birthday and he is doing a show today. That's only the fourth time he does a show on that day (this other birthday shows were: Paris 1966, Dresden 2000, and St. John's/Newfoundland)

QuoteBig Al Quoteslewan 65% – not bad for a Dylan fan who doesn't care for the early Stones years… (but I have to admit that I was guessing some answers) When do you ‘switch on’, slewan? Beggars Banquet? I love the Stones’ R&B years, but can understand why many don’t. right, it's BB.
