I have no problem with Keith or Ronnie smoking on Stage. I mean at most Stones concerts I've been to there have huge plumes of weed smoke but of course that's considered ok?

The Stones love playing new places to fans that have never seen them before. The Stones coming to Moncton was a huge once in a life time event, not to be missed, and local (even if it meant a 300+ mile drive) fans knew it. The crowd, estimated somewhere between 80,000 and 90,000, simply overwhelmed the town. Hotels and motels were sold out within 100 mile radius. As far as the concert itself it w

QuoteTurner68 Seems like they split up Lennon and McCartney so that Dylan could be #1. Lennon and McCartney together are obviously #1. +1 This.

Paris '67! IMHO This is the definitive live version of Satisfaction (ok the sound quality is a little rough but as far as a live performance it is an A+ ). Original Golden era Brian Jones line up and the boys are absolutely on fire and totally ripping it up. This is proof of the incredible greatness of the original band and Mick's voice has never sounded better. Nothing post 68 even co

Also anything by Boston, Bad Company and Foreigner. Although these were never even remotely close to being on my list of favorite bands, I did used to like them ok way back in the day. Classic Rock radio ruined that completely. Now I cringe when I hear them and have to change the radio station...

Got tickets to see David Gilmour @ MSG in April. One of the coolest things is when you purchase Gilmour tickets through Ticketmaster you get a free CD of David's new album (not some stupid download code). So I am avoiding listening to any tracks in advance online and waiting until the CD arrives in the mail to give it a listen.

Since the Stones can't make the South American numbers work, the Stones could easily do a fall USA stadium tour of larger market cities. Plenty of money left on the table up for grabs. But for some reason they are not. This is not the Stones way. Maybe they just need a break to do other things. Also, I think, if the planets align correctly, the Stones would love to squeeze in an MSG run (

The Stones threw Taylor a bone for the 50th anniversary tour. He is not part of the band. Meanwhile Ronnie's killing it with some incredible guitar playing on the Stones current tour.

Quotetweedamp3 They suck ass plain and simple. So wrong for the Stones. If one of them dares to appear on stage with them I fear for their lives. Yes, Rascal Flatts is about as lame as it gets. IMO the Stones should have asked Buddy Guy to open up for every show on the Zip Code tour

I saw Kid Rock open for the Stones. It was ok at best.Certainly nothing I would pay to see again. There is a reason Kid rock charges only $20 for tickets to his white trash extravaganza concerts. I would have much rather had a great opener like Buddy Guy open for the Stones but I've also seen much worse openers in the past like the Black Eyed Peas which I thought were horrible.

Well it's getting a little old hearing all this rubbish about tarps and the Stones not selling out stadiums anymore. I was at Columbus row 25 Ronnies side, seat 1 directly bedside the Catwalk and the Stones put on one hell of a show! Looking behind me the stadium was obviously full. The Stones are really bringing it to the fans Ok maybe not the hardcore fans on the message boards who consta

I always buy hard paper tickets.I love them. I never buy, or have used a PDF or electronic tickets ever. I save all my concert ticket stubs and some day I will frame them (or at least all of the Stones ones) They are the best, easily obtained, concert souvineers regardless of what they are worth or not worth.....

Looks like Ticketmaster is playing games again. I just checked again and floor tickets in section B Row 5 have now changed prices. Seat 22 is still $395 plus TM fees but seats 23 and 24 are now listed at $1753 each WTF?

Thanks Josepi for you extremely helpful information and advice. I will look into taking the number #2 COTA and booking a hotel in the arena district or brewery district. Are you going to the Stones concert? If so I hope you have a fantastic time! It should be a great show. Thanks again for all of your help!

I need advice from a local Columbus Stones fan who knows the venue/local area. I scored a great ticket on TM and will be going solo and will not have a car. Are there any public transportation options available to and from the venue on the night of the Stones concert? Or are taxi's my only option? Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! PS have not booked a hotel yet (l
