One of the greatest Stones performances of all time, judging from the videos I watch constantly. I wish I was old enough to have gone.

QuoteZotz Rolling Stones - Undercover of the Night - "a Christmas gift" video: Wow. Had never heard this before. It's awesome. Almost has a bit of a U2 sound, kind of like the version of Silver and Gold with Ronnie and Keith

QuoteSomeTorontoGirl I’ve wanted to say something to Steve Jordan for a while now, and that is simply - Thank You. He took a great deal of criticism when he stepped up after Charlie died. With tens of thousands of grief-stricken fans, some couldn’t help but direct but their grief at him, which was unfair. But the Stones had to do the tour, and he was not only Charlie’s pick, he was family. He

QuoteCindyC QuoteJMoisica Apologies if this has been asked and answered already, but is it possible to buy LDs off of someone? How would that work if ID is required? Thanks in advance for any insight. In my experience, the answer is a firm "sometimes". Kinda depends on the venue/counter person. You should make sure to get a photocopy of the license of the person who originally purch

Quotedaspyknows QuoteDan QuoteGAFF QuoteJMoisica If you only had money for one of the shows at SoFi in LA, which one would you go for? Thanks in advance for any insight! It's a toss up, really. As LA, like NJ and Chicago, is a two show market, one show will get Miss You and the other will get Midnight Rambler. It's anyone's guess which show will have the "better" set li

Quotedaspyknows Here is the Midnight Rambler from NJ. ProfessorWolf this is for you. The entire show won't be posted for obvious reasons but for those questioning whether any good recording have been made, here is your answer. Feel free to thank rskinno for the lack of comparable sourced material from other tapers. This is fantastic, thank you daspy!! Edit: Ronnie really shines

QuoteThe Worst. QuoteJMoisica What does week 16 mean in this context? And are normal civilians ever able to score club gig tix? It's just my guess. Week 16 is the week before the show. The opening show in Houston is at 28th of April. I'm thinking they want to do a club show to try out new songs from Hackney Diamonds before hitting the stadiums. If you are at the right place at the rig

Quoterocker1 Really, really great. Are all of the guitars that we hear played by Keith? On first pass it sort of seems that way! In the video, it looks like it’s just Ivan Neville, Steve Jordan, and Keith. Keith is shown playing all the guitars and bass!

Whoa this is amazing! Had no idea Keith was a fan of Lou, this makes me so happy! Although I know Lou was always an admirer of the Stones and Keith’s guitar playing. Two of my favorites. What a treasure, thanks for posting!

QuoteProfessorWolf i would think that the use of there version of honest i do in the movie hope floats would count as a pretty deep cut and the ultimate rolling stones deep cut in a film must be criss cross in the mid 70's japanese film metamorphoses nearly 50 years before the song was officially released QuoteDGee "Jump On Top of Me," in the film, "Pret-a-Porter."

There is a Stones needle drop in Wim Wenders new film, Perfect Days, which has got to be in the running for the deepest Stones cut in a film, rivaled only by Scorsese using the Stripped version of Gimme Shelter in Casino, and Keith’s cover of the Nearness of You in Basquiat (which I think takes the #1 slot). Of course Wes Anderson has used some great deep cuts (She Smiled Sweetly, I Am Waiting,
