Oh I'm thinking about girls all the time, Rockman. But I realised I posted in the wrong thread, as I was reading "when did Jagger's voice sound the best" in my 2nd screen. Damn this computer world, it was better when we had nothing, apart from some ramblings in the stone-cave.

Bob Dylan 1991 is his nadir year. But in one out of 15 concerts, he's magnificent. It can't be only alcohol, it seems like he did it on purpose. My father saw him him in 1990 and 1991, and he said "never ever again". But in 1995 and 1996 I bought tickets for the both of us, so he HAD to go. And he was in shock, best concerts he'd been at. Same goes for 1998 and 2000

Quoteslewan QuoteRockman None of us knows why Dylan did not attend the Nobel Prize awards ceremony. Maybe he thought he'd only get a box of dynamite .... no matter what his reasons were: not attending was impolite and disrespectful. (I'm saying this as a diehard Dylan fan). Disagree. That Nobel Prize commitee lost it's respect a long, long time ago. I liked that he took it

There were really brillant in 1978! Indeed. And imagine how much better the 1978 tour would be if they included Tell Me, Beautiful Delilah, Hi-Heel Sneakers, Play With Fire and CS blues in the setlist. T

The only one I can think of that comes close is the one with the naked 10 age girls, and Rolling Stones members dressed in nazi-uniforms.

Yes, this is embarrassing, on behalf of Clapton. But, knowing what I know of Clapton, he's not a great thinker, he's a guitarist. He has som many idiotic sides of himselves, though he agrees to that; and don't we all. I just wish his wife or somebody else would have stopped him from publishing what he did, as there are (especially in america) so many idiots who refuse to take the v

I do have this on DVD, very neat documentary. But, JJ Cale only comes to shine when he's alone, doing overdubs over overdubs, untill he gets things right. Musically, this documentary is somewhat shallow, like all Live JJ Cale recordings, but it's good to hear him talk about music and life. Funny thing is that there's an interview with Eric Clapton in which he's being asked

Because it didn't come off to good live with electric guitars. It's messy. Loving Cup, which they did the first week of the tour, was a better contender for being a regular in the setlist, though they didn't play it after the machinery got really together, later on in 1972.
