To tell you the truth, all three of them look much more fragile and older, a complete miracle that they are still good on stage. The end is near. I hope they make a bold decision in the near future. You may not have to force the 60th anniversary tour. I don’t want to see pathetic Stones on stage.

QuoteMadMetaphoricalMax The ugly, sour spirit in some of these posts, especially on that moment they paid tribute to Charlie on stage ... what can you say? I need opinions like that like I need a hole in the ground. Braying and naysaying from fuzzy mobile phone footage ... "worse than a tribute baaaand" ...Really? You don't deserve ears. You don't deserve rock and roll.

It’s hard to explain why a rhythm is special, it’s very weird to me that you can’t hear it. (many have tried to describe, to decipher especially now that Charlie is gone, but of course you have an absolute right not to hear it)

Sorry but that sucks. "Midnight Rambler" is like playing a weak tribute band. It’s not the Rolling Stones, I’ll never go see them again. I do not care. But I respect them and accept that they want to continue playing together, because what can a poor boy do, and they’re too old to see what the fair thing would be anyway. (They should play under the name "The Stones" simply wit

Quotemicawber Quotejumpingjackflash5 They also can choose a drummer that will be more compatible with their unique sound. Or simply stop NOW. Can't believe it should be a matter of finance, business and contracts. I give a sh*t for a possible new album and the 2022 jubilee and all that. They sadly missed the opportunity to finish in greatness as long as Charlie was alive. And now they

QuoteBig Al Quote1962 I understand that they want to continue playing music together. But they should change the name of the band from "The Rolling Stones" to "The Stones". That would be fair. Why, exactly? Because without Charlie "The Rolling" (the unique, unmistakable swing) has gone. (Mick and Keith know this better than anyone)

Quotematxil It's really quite simple, and can be summarised in few rational steps. - Mick, Keith and Ronnie want to keep on making music (what else can they do? Mick can play in movies, Ronnie can paint, but I doubt it gives them the same satisfaction). - They could make solo-albums, and I for one wished Keith would have made more solo-work. Instead, they decided to continue together, wh

Mick and Keith both repeatedly stated how essential was Charlie for the band's unique sound and that no Rolling Stones without him. I forgot when and where but that's sure. and they know that for sure that the real swinging Rolling Stones minimum are Mick-Keith-Charlie. None of them is replacable. so this is something else the loss is enormous, fatal and irreparable The R

Quotejumpingjackflash5 QuoteKRiffhard QuoteMathijs I do like it that with Jordan they do play quite a bit faster. I like how they start Trouble's A Coming. Let's be honest, Charlie was dragging quite a bit for the last years. Mathijs you're free to enjoy this new sound of what once was a swinging rock and roll band. The playing sounds tight, tempos are all right and Steve is solid. But it doesn't sound like The Rolling Stones. It's Mick and a band playing The Stones. It's not bad by any means, it just doesn't sound like The Rolling Stones to my e

Tonight there will be a memorial concert in Budapest (Hungary): August 24, Charlie Watts, one of the most important drummer of the rock’n’roll, passed away at the age of 80. As a member of The Rolling Stones, he aquired timeless merits in laying foundations in the genre, with songs inspiring generations. This evening is dedicated to the Great Charlie Watts by Hungary’s Stones Tribute - ‘St
