Has anyone noticed that there are plenty of tickets available for the opening show in Houston? Even the cheapest tickets for not even 70 USD can easily be purchased Tickets Stones Houston

I have a vague hope the Stones will be playing more material from HD than one or two songs. Angry should be set, so does Mess It Up. Depending On You and Sweet Sounds of Heaven could be played alternately from gig to gig. Probably Bite My Head Off will make it to the setlist every few gigs. I doubt they will do Live By The Sword. Mick normally avoids songs that might impact his voice due to hard

I must admin that 'Undercover' is one of my least favourite albums. I tried several times to get into it but the magic spark never appeared. Of course, the album featutes true gems but overally I rate this album rather weak ... although DW three years later has been even weaker. I really like 'She Was Hot' and wonder why it's only been played occasionally during the B

My first impression when starting to listen was that it reminded me of "Fast Talking, Slow Walking" from TY Deluxe. The melody, transitions and basic chords as well as Mick's vocals are close to this track. It's well played and recorded ... and yes I share the opinion that a darker female voice would have been fitting better. But overally speaking, it's a good song, wh

Horrible performance of "Maggy's Farm". Lousy playing, bad singing ... I'm saying that as Dylan fan. Just really really bad.

QuoteCaptainCorella QuoteMeise Don't forget 102 Edith Grove, SW10 where Mick, Keith and Brian shared a flat in 1962/63 ... It's No.10 on the original poster's list. BUT - it's so hugely important that it deserves to be on the list at least twice! I didn't notice, sorry. But thanks for the hint and comment! But hey, what about Wormwood Scrubs prison? 160 Du Cane R

IMO, the song never really worked live. Compared to the album version , it misses groove, and the background choir has always sounded thin. The song is hard to sing, hence Mick's voice saving singing doesn't make the song better.

Unfortunately, my thread on help for purchasing a certain version of these trainers - only available in the US - was deleted. I didn't go that way to disturb anybody but was really seeking for help. Really believed we're sort of community here, supporting each other when help is needed. But I was obviously wrong.

It's nice to see that there are alternatives but neither the Belgian Skechers online store nor the ebay offer offer that Skechers version in the suitable size. My cousins nearly 2 m tall and needs shoe size 13. Again, if there are buddies in the US who would like to help, please do. Look forward to your messages!

Hi folks in the US, my cousin would like to buy those Skechers: Unfortunately, they don't ship to Europe, i.p. Germany. The German Skechers webpage doesn't offer this version of Stones Skechers, so don't other online stores in Europe. Now my pledge: Could somebody of you located in the US order these shoes and forward them to Germany? Of course, there will be a tip as our

Quote24FPS Quotedcba I wouldnt expect too much from this one... The playing must have been very very rough : see the kind of musical "quality" they delivered a few days later in Philie. Therefore I doubt Jagger hired a 16-tracks remote unit to record it. It must exist in the Vault as a board cassette with a label that says "not to be circulated". Maybe. But things soun

I bought the DVD of this concert and like it very much. IMO it's even better than the official "LIve at the Hollywood Palldium". Particularly like the opener "Something Else". The band was really cooking!

Yesterday I had an interesting phone call with Ulli Schroeder from the Stones Museum in Luechow/Germany. Aside to information on an event with Daryl Jones in the Museum in June, he told me that the Stones management has asked Daryl to remain available from August 2023 on. Ulli added that the new record has been finished and will be published presumably in early fall this year - accompanied by a n

Now that they've relased so many shows from the last three decades, I'd vote for tour footage unseen before, such as the tours in 1969 (no Gimme Shelter movie restoration), 1970, 1973, 1976. Those were the days when the Stones was a true rockband ...

It's never been one of my favs. Honestly, I never really got into that number. The lyrics are extremely weak, the riff's sort of okay but not more. I haven't figured out why it was used as opener for an album. Possibly the influence of Billy Preston ...
