I dont understand the attitude or better to say resistance against new Rolling Stones tracks. Out Of Control is stunning live track (frankly speaking I prefer OOC to Paint It Black) and Doom&Gloom is new song from their latest compilation album. Where is respect for Rolling Stones as still working, recording and still relevant music artists? It seems like that some of you wants to put them in

Maybe that main point of it is to show that Rolling Stones have very good "recent" tracks (meant from latest released albums) and that they are not nostalgic band playing only the old stuff from years of biggest fame. To be honest (and I know I´m going to be minority here) - I see You Got Me ROcking as better live track than for example TUmbling Dice or It´s Only Rock´n´Roll. Out Of Con

It´s not trick - its just technical improvement. Woud you describe stage monitor for musician as "trick"? It´s just technical stuff which makes show better and gives musicians sort of "comfortable" feeling that they can get help when they simply forget the lyrics. It´s really like prompt in theater which does not make actor better or worse. I would love to know different th

She really read everything during singing or just she had a chance to check what follows in the lyrics? Please keep on mind that focusing on "reading lyrics" is NOT comfortable for singer, because he/she cant be focused on melody and singing itself on 100%.... It works like this - as Paul obviously didnt write lyrics for Radio Ga Ga I´m not suprised he has problems with remembering o

The main reason for the teleprompters is first help to singer when he lose the focus during the song - its very easy to forget where in the song band currently is when you work with audience - and Mick is well-known showman. When I saw Queen with Paul Rodgers I remember how much Paul relied on this equipment - it was striking, but I didnt care - its not easy to remember lyrics written by some

To be honest, I have absolutely no issue with it. As far as I know, Paul McCartney uses it too - even for songs like Let It Be or Yesterday. It´s just standard part of stage setup for big bands since many years ago - its almost like monitors on stage (or earmonitors in case of Stones). These telepromters are visible even on B2B DVD from St. Louis - it would be suprising NOT to use them nearly 20

I fully understand what you say (especially that drumming is very demanding job) but then - why dont start with 20 songs (and plus minus same duration of the show) and keep that standard for whole tour? I understand that Midnight Rambler and You Cant Always Get What You Want together are "equal" to three and maybe four short songs. They would even avoid the criticism which they got her

I dont want to make this topic very controversial, but there is one tradition which I´m thinking about. Since Steel Wheels / Urban Jungle tour, the setlist at the beginning of the tour are distinctively longer than at the end of the tour. 89 / 90 SW / UJ Tours - 27 songs at the beginning 23 at the end 94 / 95 VL Tour - 27 songs => 23 at the end 97 / 98 BTB Tour - 24 songs => 21 at the

I´m a bit aroused by some post here. I don´t know why but it some post seems to me like that people in US thinks that we in Europe live like hillbillies or something like this. Firstly. In European are different local customs about arena concerts than in US. We have a different "size" of hockey halls for example but I don´t know why do you make a "difference" between 13 tho
