Bands must have proper insurance to tour. QuoteNate If you’ve been vaccinated and want to attend a show why worry about any potential super spreader event as those getting infected will have chosen to take their chances with Covid-19 by declining the vaccine.Surely anyone with any sense has got better things to worry about than a bunch of Covid deniers ending up on ventilators. He lost all his hair from the small cell cancer treatments. But he’s in remission now. QuoteMore Hot Rocks Quotethecitadel It is his hair growing back after his medical treatment. After his first bout of cancer he said he refused chemo because he would lose his hair. This second bout clearly required chemo, but very pleasede for Ronnie that its growing back and it maybe still short, but t

Brilliant observation. Health comes first. Ron’s still recovering from his treatment. QuoteHairball Quotempj200 The Stones are booked in American Football stadiums where most teams hold their day to day operations. Meetings, weights, film studies. Insurance companies would have to create an exemption for the vaccine passport requirements in Florida and Texas states due to state bans of such. QuoteTooTight I think you're right that insurance is the biggest issue, both for the band and for tour cancellation. But stadium availability: every big tour since Steel Wheels has started late summer in the US, playing football stadiums

The band has legally binding contracts with all the stadiums/venues except one (San Diego). It’s also possible that Texas and Florida contracts will be voided. The tour (cancelation) AND the band members (health) have to be insured. That water is a bit murky right now.

It’s useless to compare the Stones tour to the Dead tour. Completely different venues and circumstances.

Don’t worry mate, Stones concerts aren’t mandatory. Doesn’t matter what you don’t have a problem with. I don’t think your thoughts are in consideration for the tour. QuoteNate I have had the vaccine but would never insist on someone else taking it. It is and should always remain someone’s personal choice to take a vaccine. I would have no problem being in the pit at a concert surrounded by

The insurance companies will require proof of vaccine or a current negative test. Some venues have already announced those unvaccinated will be seated in a separate section. QuoteNate If any figure of authority ever attempted to inject me with something against my will then that needle would be going straight into their eye. It is ludicrous that some people call for vaccinated and non vacci

Fall is American football season. The 2019 tour had to be done by labour day. Wouldn’t count on a fall tour.

The 2019 tour finished within days of the NFL’s deadline/requirements. So I wouldn’t expect the rescheduled tour to run through the NFL season. Most teams use their stadiums daily for meetings, offices, training, film, weight rooms, practice etc. AEG (and Live Nation) have also said their tours will require proof of vaccine. Or possibly a current negative test or antibodies test. The Stat

Vaccine Passports are coming. But this is what it looks like for now... the latest blog from industry insider Bob Lefsetz. “ As for the older acts… They’re not going out. The Stones, the Eagles, they’re still afraid of the virus. They might do streams in the interim, to keep the public hungry and attentive, but the prices they’re talking about…the Stones are gonna use flex pricing, for a STRE

The promoters set the requirements for entry. It’s private business. Vaccinated attendees are what the insurers are looking for. QuoteHairball Quotebv All bands may tour the state of Texas now. There are no covid-19 rules in Texas now, right? Then the rest of the world may learn from the great human experiment involving all 29 million people living in Texas USA, how it is turning out, three m

There is an app in the works that can show proof of vaccination for tours. Unfortunately the push back from so many in the States on getting vaccinated has made the tour insurers nervous. Several tours have already been postponed to 2022. One can get vaccinated and be in the first group to see tours... or one can wait and not get vaccinated and be locked out of the first tours.

It’s a tribute record. Do you understand how that concept works???? QuoteHairball Might have been better had it been a covers album of multiple artists ala Blue and Lonesome. As it is, a bit one dimensional and really unnecessary when you can listen to the superior originals, though I'm sure it's a nice souvenir for those who were in attendance.
