Freaking amazing show. I am totally exhausted from dancing - just like it should be!! Two hours went by in a flash, would have loved two more. Apologize on behalf of Nashville for the issues with the venue, though - we felt like we were treated badly by the staff, who barked at us, but worse was - we were way over to the left in the third row and you had to walk ALL THE WAY to the back to ge

FWIW, I live in Nashville - many local accounts of Jagger having been at the Parthenon, from folks with no reason to lie. Wonder if Alan LeQuire, who built the Athena in there, went with him. Re: the sale tickets: audiences in this town are spoiled spoiled spoiled. We're not used to paying $$$ to see bands because we see so much good stuff for $5 or $10! I hear this all the time fro

Downtown parking options for people who'd like to avoid the mess at LP Field (it can take forever to get out of there. If you have a parking pass, you should park near one of the exits if you can.) FYI for out of towners: There's a pedestrian bridge located right in front of the Schermerhorn Symphony Hall that dumps out into one of the parking lots at LP. If things are really

There are lots of parking garages downtown. Music City Center has a big garage and it's often $5 on weeknights… another good option is the Pinnacle building. If you don't mind walking about a mile, the downtown library at 5th and Church is usually pretty cheap too. More info:

Just a reminder - LP Field has specific policies on what you can bring in:

NOT that I am not thrilled out of my mind to be seeing the ROLLING STONES in Nashville where I live in only a few hours, but - someone didn't do their homework - would have sold lots more shirts if they had put the Nashville Predators Hockey Team on those shirts!! They make the Playoffs every year and are awesome, the Titans suck and only won two games last year. Everyone's talking ab

Sorry to be a wet blanket but bands performing here virtually always cover either Ring of Fire or Folsom Prison as their "classic Nashville" tribute. They're easy to play (with only three or so chords, so no rehearsal) and bands seem to think they make good background for the show finale when everyone comes out to say goodbye. Don't know how you would get the word out that

It's now got me in a "waiting room" style queue ("your wait time is less than 10 minutes." ) Thought I'd see what I could get for some friends. No luck yet. I gotta say I feel kind of bad for venting about Amex's bad service in Tweets this morning. Their Concierge line has been locked up tight since yesterday. Also, I didn't get anything at all in th

I had Drake's experience too. Ran searches for 'preferred seating' on my husband's machine while concurrently running regular Amex presale searches on my laptop. Threw a bunch of tickets back, but finally lucked up and got third row on the field. Way off to one side (Ronnie's), but I'll take 'em. $368 per. I have NEVER seen a Nashville Amex presale se

OK, I admit there is much hosanna-ing and jumping up and down screaming in our household. This'll be one hell of a show - artists always play great gigs here since many of their peers will be in the audience. Stevie Wonder was incredible last night - played four hours! - now this?! ><

Good luck! Also buying for Nashville but lower seated levels since I'm short and can't see unless I'm in the first three or four rows. Edit: Well, as it turns out I got third row! Way off to one side (Ronnie's), but who cares. See y'all there! And I'll check in often to help out folks who may be visiting from time to time.

Folks - book your hotel rooms NOW. Downtown Nash is a tourist destination and the hotels are probably already partly gone just due to normal course of things… they will sell out or charge $500 per night once GA starts. Note that there's a decent hostel on 1st Avenue within walking distance of the venue if you're into that kind of thing: I also like the Best Western on Demonb

^^ This is good advice! Just as another data point - the Amex 1-800 concierge line currently has a three hour hold time and has since last night. So don't bother trying that angle.

Re: Nashville - U2 played Vanderbilt Stadium back in 2011 and we drank plenty of booze! So perhaps they've relaxed that rule. Issue is, Nashville has grown A LOT in the last few years, with traffic near-impassable in many parts of town most of the time - including and especially Vanderbilt near West End Avenue. Personally I'm glad to see this at LP, even tho it'll be huge -

I'm not a fan per se but went to the tour with Stevie Nicks on a free ticket. It was a great show! I'd probably go again, tell you the truth (and I'm usually a classic rock/"alternative"/metal kind of girl.)

Shocking to learn that basically this show is still about the perspective of the female cast members. Best series since 'Sopranos,' IMO. Wondering when Megan is going to learn about Don's wandering ways...

QuoteEach night they would play the 18 songs of Exile start to finish (with Ronnie and Taylor) and could then play Midnight Rambler & Brown Sugar. Encore with YCAGWYW, JJF, & Satisfaction. Can Jagger really not realize how well received that show would be? It would sell out every show! Downside: I would wind up living under a bridge b/c I would hock whatever I had to, to attend as many
