It will be interesting to see how much the setlist gets turned over for SoFi #2. Both New York and Chicago got many deeper cuts for their second shows.

Oh rats, was looking forward to seeing them at The Gorge. Obviously, their health comes first. Hope it's nothing too serious. Now they will not have to play in the hottest part of the summer, which may be a silver lining. Hope there are some more shows when everyone is up for it. Between this news, and Willie having to take some nights off on the Outlaw Tour, I am even more impre

Good going Chris. Hope you get a smooth exit post-show as sometimes traffic can get a bit snarled after big events at the stadium. I’ll just take light rail, as it’s cheap and convenient, and if the show runs late, catch a ride home. For those with the day off (I’ll be coming from work), the Mariners will be playing the Kansas City Royals at T-Mobile Park, just a short walk south of Lumen Fi

Thanks for sharing that MisterDDDD. Screwdriver is a great basement hideaway with a treasure trove off Rock n’ Roll memorabilia on its walls, excellent tunes, drinks, and service. The sets with DJ’s spinning their vintage 7” 45s are fantastic. I’ve met Chris Jones, and he is a genuine, sincere, and good-hearted music fan.

More like Rest In Cheese. That dude mostly played a way to crassly commercial and "smooth" style of Jazz for my tastes. I'm sure he was a great dude, but honestly, I am much more moved by the passing of B-Movie legendary director/producer Roger Corman than I am of David Sanborn.

Just like their last visit to Seattle, the Stones will have spectacular weather conditions for their concert at Lumen Field on Wednesday with mostly sunny skies and temperatures ranging from a high of 73 degrees Fahrenheit to overnight lows in the low 50s. It should still be near 60 when the show ends. There’s no rain in the forecast all week, so enjoy your visit to the Emerald City! This

I quite liked the 2022 Europe tour shirt, wool cap, and hoodie I got in Lyon. Something looks off with the Hackney Diamonds tongue, like it’s diseased, possibly syphylitic?

They didn’t start until 7:30 p.m., but it was still light outside when they played the Marcus Amphitheatre stage at Milwaukee’s Summerfest on June 23, 2015 on the Zip Code tour.

Hope the Jazzfest show is not too hot, and that everything goes off without a hitch. Third times a charm! It would be nice if they brought Irma Thomas onstage and revived Time Is On My Side. They could put it over the top with an all-star horn section sit-in with Trombone Shorty, Kermit Ruffins, and Branford Marsalis.

This thread needs a Where Are They Now segment. Did Chippydodo ever move on from his sweaty desk job in New York and catch a few shows? Is gstone working as an informant for the FBI or KGB? As for Dean Goodman and BV, they are basking in the morning after glow from the tour opener in Houston, and setting their compass for New Orleans.

Have fun everybody! Look forward to your reports, photos, and hopfully some streams. Looks like a high of 80 degrees Fahrenheit today in Houston, with rain later in the day, so probably pretty humid. Stay hydrated. I still have PTSD from seeing so many folks who overdid it getting carried off the field at the Lyon show after passing out.

They encored Danger Bird with a guest sit-in from Nils Lofgren last night in Phoenix. The house lights never went up, but the recording of Greensleeves that usually signals the show is over was played on the house sound after Hey Hey, My My closed the main set, and many folks left and missed Danger Bird.

Didn’t Keith call TSMR “psychedelic bull*#&!”? The Stones, other than Brian, seemed to mostly keep a distance from the psychedelic scene. Their big attempt to insinuate themselves into it failed miserably at the debacle at Altamont. It would have made more sense for them to have courted the company of the U.K. Blues & R&B-based Rock bands of the latter 60s like Fleetwood Mac,

In 2019, the first Thursday was a “locals” day, with discounted tickets for Louisiana residents, and the Stones were scheduled to perform on the 2nd Thursday. The Stones seem to have crossed stars when it comes to appearing at NOLA Jazzfest. It will be interesting if it happens but I’m not holding my breath.

The Celebration Day audio and video recordings are evidence that Page, Plant, Jones, and Jason Bonham had put in the work to rehearse the show. It sounded fantastic. With a state of the art

Bobby Womack opened my first Stones show in 1981. Buddy Guy was fantastic on the Zip Code Tour in Milwaukee. For the most part, the other opening acts I’ve seen have been average (Promise Of The Real) to lamentable.
