You are wrong, in that it isn't on CD. In fact, it IS on CD, with a plethora of bonus tracks. Just came out last fall. Check out www.macspages.com for details.

What company put it out? Did the Stones or ALO authorize it?

Anybody get this yet? I've seen it listed on Amazon.com and HMV.com. Also have seen it on ebay.

So I've read. I'm excited, but my DVD isn't hooked into my stereo, so I'll need to pick these up online. Installing I tunes tonight.

Anyone know if these are available to purchase on I-Tunes?

No!!! Not enough extra material to make it worth my while. I'll download the new tracks. I may buy Rarities, though, but just to burn Through the Lonely Nights, Miss You, and If I was A Dancer. Then I'll sell the CD. The stray live tracks are a waste, except Let It Rock. And that works better with the entire Leeds concert, which is a must own, so it's unecessary. The Stones have

Are the two new songs on the upcoming ABB special edition playable on CD players? The press release says the songs are on the DVD. Please shine a light.

Just UK newsreel footage as "bonus selections." Haven't found anything else.

This is interesting. Anyone know who's releasing this, assuming it's an official release? Neither Amazon nor HMV have it listed, but I found another site that does. It even talked about extras. But, is it official?

It's clear we're not going to see "rarities" during the Stones lifetime. So why, then, can't they just put together all the non-lp stuff on one @#$%& compilation!?!? What is so hard about that? It's a no-brainer. Personally, I hope the Virgin tracklisting is the real deal.

If this is true, this is THE WORST Stones compilation ever assembled. What crap!!!! Better the Decca comps from the 70s.

I would imagine Through the Lonely Nights, Think I'm Going Mad, and Everything's Turning to Gold will be on Disc 2.

This just in from a friend of mine, whose sister works at Virgin in New York. She said, Disc 1 is going to be previously released tracks from 1989 forward and Disc 2 is going to contain previously released and unreleased tracks from 1971 to 1989. Here's the track listing for Disc 1. Don't Stop I'm Gonna Drive Stealing My Heart Jump on Top of Me Keys to Your Heart Anyway

True enough, but the Times reported it in early September. Anyway, just checking on an update. Where is the article/press release from Virgin saying they denied this release?

"Recent" meaning less than "several" weeks ago. This is from Ice Magazine, dated 15 August: As years go by: If there’s a new Rolling Stones tour (and there is, commencing August 21 in Boston), there’s bound to be a new album. There will be, come September 6, when Virgin lets off A Bigger Bang. The 16-cut set, produced by Jagger and Richards with Don Was (Voodoo Lounge, B

I empathize with all your requests and concerns. But do you really think ABKCO is going to do it? Of course not! Look at the way they handled the remastered series. Sound quality aside, they offered no new product, accept for the superior UK releases, and they botched that by not including the first two LPs. They didn't even give us the first 3 EPs until the belatedly released first singles

I wholeheartedly do not support this petitition. If ABKCO did one thing right with the remastered series, it was to release the Singles Collection with the original mono mixes. Menace of Mayfair is absolutely correct---this was the way they were intended to be released. Having suffered through the stereo mixes for the last 30 years, it was a pleasure to have the mono mixes back. What the inferior

Has anybody seen a DVD release of this documentary? I read here some time ago about an updated version that was screened in Europe during the last tour. Any help is much appreciated. "Nice to see you, but where did you get the records?"

The sequencing. Song for song it's decent, but listening to it in one sitting is difficult. I took that collection and the singles box, along with quality outtakes from the period, and created a whole new collection, comprised of 3 2-CD sets: Metamorphosis---Disc 1 includes the Decca demoes, the unreleased chess sessions, and the rock and roll tracks from Abkco Metamorphosis as well as
