I am pretty sure the only Beatles songs Yoko sings on are bungalow Bill and revolution number nine.

I disagree. I saw Magpie salute twice and both shows were absolutely fantastic. Very tight band and rocking. With some great deep cuts thrown in. They did an amazing version of Ronnie lanes April’s Fool! For me the Magpie Salute rocked. It was a rock ‘n’ roll show with some amazing jams. Whereas the Chris Robinson brotherhood is a jam band copying the dead. Which I loath. And that’s been a big ru

Some of before the frost after the freeze is very good! Top notch. Some of the songs are horrid. And some of Chris’s worst lyrics.

Sorry hairball disagree completely. war paint is an amazing album and incredible comeback for them.Lions is also a great album it’s their Led Zeppelin album they made right after tutoring with Page. A lot of what I’ve read about the whole thing with Page was both Rich and Chris also felt a bit self-conscious that it took them covering Led Zeppelin to make a big comeback. And they wanted to go in

This reunion is looking like it is a very big lost opportunity. I’m a big black crowes fan, they are fantastic. Yes they are a bit of a retro band. And where they are incenses firmly on their rock ‘n’ roll hearts. Stones, faces, Zepplin, the Grateful Dead, the band. However they do it with the flare and determination that is thrilling. From all accounts it’s going to be just Chris and Rich and th

Also John Lennon was worth $800 million at the time of his death. George Harrison worth $400 million at the time of his death. The Beatles and amassed far more money than Stones. Beatles have sold over 600 million albums worldwide. The Stones 240 million.

I agree the outtakes are outstanding! The outtake of I want you is worth the price of admission. The Giles Martin mix I am not as enthusiastic about. Somethings he gets gloriously right and other things are epic fails. For me the big fail is the muted guitars on many of the songs. It’s interesting how the two surviving Beatles are boosted the most in the mix. The bass is too heavy in my opinion.

Abkco can released unreleased material they have done so with rock ‘n’ roll Circus. Both of beggars banquet and let it bleed releases are cash grabs. They suck! And as somebody stated above letters won’t help just don’t buy them . When they sell like shit they might figure it out.

Most likely the songs they have been working on are sounding more like solo Keith and solo Mick, and not catching fire. Sad.

Starts almost identically to another tricky day then morphs into a glorious operatic explosion of classic who proportion’s. Keep in mind this is from a shitty phone and it still sounds pretty damn good! Roger soars on this.

Stones by the numbers! A generic rocker with horrible production. And as somebody has stated above they have so many more amazing songs why include the disposable by the numbers piece in a set list now?

Quotetatters QuoteHMS Watched some of the recent clips and it was horrible beyond my wildest dreams. Roger & Pete, PLEASE stop pretending and go home fishing or something... that´s not THE WHO, that´s not almost what is left of THE WHO. The way these guys damage their image is ridiculous. Roger´s voice for instance was in bad bad shape in 1982 but still ten times better than today. There is z

Won't happen. No way. They are in the comfort zone now. Easy for them, they are old and need predictability and comfort to play well now.

Really another greatest hits? Please. My Stones tax is high enough as it is. Release the new album already. One suspects it might not be too great hence they aren't too motivated to finish it. And not motivated to start all over again. Too bad.

I caught one of his shows in Chicago for the last tour. Amazing! I really was stunned by how good it was, how good he sang and his playing is still amazing. A great set list too! I wish I could have seen him on the On an Island tour as well. I would definitely go see him again.

potus, mickscary, whatever you wanna be called. Your are thick as a brick. If a band was touring as Aerosmith then they never broke up! If they lost some original members but still toured as Aerosmith they didn't break up. When you say reunion show you mean when Joe Perry and Brad Whitford rejoined Aerosmith, the band, they never broke up. Just like Pink Floyd toured and released music witho

They did not break up! Joe Perry left the band, as did Brad Whitford. Yet Aerosmith continued to tour as a band until those two returned. I saw the 1982 show with Jimmy Crespo as their lead guitarist. The other two returned to do the Done with Mirrors album and reunion tour. But the band never officially broke up.

Well as a blues collector I already have all those songs on complete albums. So this is like buying a mixed tape I could make myself.

John Lennon never said Paul McCartney is the best drummer in The Beatles. That is horse hockey. Urban legend that never was said. If Charlie retires... THey will inevitably do what they want. And people will still pay to see the name The Rolling Stones. Will I? Probably not. I have seen them enough now. Setlists are stagnant and the show is basically the same show it has been for the last 8

I am of two minds. I did not buy the box set. I am not working at the moment and yes it is expensive. And I already have most the albums on vinyl. But also I loved the Exile Abbey Road halfspeed master that was sold earlier. And really would love to hear a lot of that stuff done by Abbey Road. If I bought the numbered box set and they released the albums individually I would be pissed as a collec

While not my favorite album by The Beatles, Abbey Road is their apex of their career as a band. Firstly, their musicianship on this album is astounding. All four bring it with a passionate totality. And while some whinge about Maxwell Silver's Hammer and Octopus's Garden they both have some very innovative and grand musical moments. MSH has fantastic moog on it, along with great harmoni
