I agree the outtakes are outstanding! The outtake of I want you is worth the price of admission. The Giles Martin mix I am not as enthusiastic about. Somethings he gets gloriously right and other things are epic fails. For me the big fail is the muted guitars on many of the songs. It’s interesting how the two surviving Beatles are boosted the most in the mix. The bass is too heavy in my opinion.

They did not break up! Joe Perry left the band, as did Brad Whitford. Yet Aerosmith continued to tour as a band until those two returned. I saw the 1982 show with Jimmy Crespo as their lead guitarist. The other two returned to do the Done with Mirrors album and reunion tour. But the band never officially broke up.
