Sure. If you could be a little more precise. What exactly is the problem with these files?

If I already own LA Friday, which discs DON'T I need to grab?

Do people recommend the 11th? One site says it's discs 3 and 4, despite what the artwork says.

Sheesh. Any help appreciated.

Sorry for the very late response and thank you for the hint.
Just got nearly no spare time at the moment.
I will take care of the "track 11 problem" soon.
I let you know here when it is fixed.

Kait,

Set 1 is the first 4 CD's

CD1 is from July 9th
CD2 is from July 9th
CD3 is from July 12th
CD4 is from July 9th

Set 2 is the last 4 CD's

CD5 is from July 11th
CD6 is from July 13th
CD7 is from July 13th
CD8 is from July 13th

CD 2 and CD 4 appear to be the same set of songs from the same date as the artwork says unless it is a misprint. It would appear as though CD4 should be the second part of the show from either the July 11th or July 12th show but I don't know for sure as I have not downloaded this yet to listen.

Can anyone zip each CD and upload as a single file if possible?

sicilian,
thanks for your fast response.
after going through my collection, comparing this release to the ones i have, and
after looking at the "words of wonder-book, vol.1" (sometimes they can be very helpfully), this should be the correct dates:

cd 1 & 2: july 13 ( same as the vgp release "L.A. Friday '75" )
cd 3 & 4: july 9
cd 5: july 12 (part of the concert)
cd 6: july 11
cd 7: july 11 (track 1-5) july 13 (track 6-8)
cd 8: july 13

Can't recall what's on LA Friday, but here are my thoughts: both the 9th and the 13th are "must haves." The 11th is a good recording and worth having, but (IMO)is not as good a show as the other two. So, it depends on just how many '75 shows you want -- if you want to limit it to the top tier, I'd skip the 11th.

I got my info right from the Empress Valley sleeves on a boot site.

One has to wonder how on earth can they release an 8 CD set and have incorrect info printed on their packaging. They usually produce quality releases. I love the Earls Court Led Zeppelin run.

Maybe they were using too much of their own product (in title).

I 'd like to DL July 9 show because i know that this EVSD version sounds better than VGP LA Fog.
AND THIS SHOW IS IMO THE BEST BY FAR OF 1975 TOTA !!!!

Boxset covers give wrong information but not for cd's 1 & 2 of vol1 as chrisM's review wrote : it's really july 09 show!
Here seems to be confusion with links for VOL 1 (cd's 1,2,3,4) because they should have the same number of files (respectively 14,11,14,11) but it appears that you UPload same 11 files for cd 1 and cd 2
Vol 2 seems to be OK in terms of files for each cd : 10 files for cd 5, 9 for cd 6, 8 files for cd 7 and cd 8.
So may i have this little request please : could you solve the pb for cd's 1 & 2 and be sure that their links are not those of cd's 3 & 4.
I wpild apologize because it's little complicated message but i'm french and learned english over 20 years ago ...

anyway thanks for your efforts !

I began to DL cd 3 and it seems to be 1975-07-09 show (first part). So exactly what i'm looking for ! THANKS A LOT !
Congratulations, Kait : you're absolutely right on that point!

Link for file 9 of this cd is now inactive on rapidshare. I'll do appreciate if you could solve this pb ....

THANKS !

Thanks for this great upload, Ludwig8745 !

I deeply appreciate EVSD version of the july 9 "on fire" (as ChrisM wrote) show ... Here it is on so called "CD 3" and "CD 4" as Kait noted.

But there is still 2 pb :

1- CD 3 : file 09 (YCAGWYW i presume)is not more active on rapidshare,

2- CD 4 : file 11 (SFD) is not from July 9 but from July 13
(easy to recognize by Mick saying "hello, hello-hello" at the beginning.
On July 9 he sings "Ah yeah !" at introduction chords changes ... Remember LOve You Live).
I know you repost this file after some members request because they didn't find the expected song with first file 11 you posted.

I hope you can solve these 2 little pb ... It's too bad not to have this great show complete (imo the best of TOTA tour!)!

You can be sure i'll appreciate and for sure i'll be not the only one ...

Maybe it helps you to know that EVSD LA 75 boxset content in fact is :

CD 1, CD 2 : July 9 complete,
CD 3 : July 11,
CD 4 : July 13 except fingerprint file : July 11,
CD 5 : July 12,
Cd 6, 7, 8 : July 13 complete.
