well this is a reseed from tradersden original upped there by COLOGNESHARK, thank you

sound is pretty excellent except theres always a Knistern (sorry i dunno the english word, maybe some can help, what i mean is, theres always a disturbing noise like when you play an lp and the needle isnt well cleaned)

The Trident Mixes

Lineage: → Original Silver Rip → xACT → .flac [ Level 5 ] → The Traders' Den

Artwork: → No

Label: → Dog n Cat CD689

Copy of the 2nd edition of the 2 LP bootleg The Trident Mixes (K&S 072), incl. crackles and the skip in Downtown Suzie. Missing the last instrumental track which is known as Trident Jam.

The Trident Mixes on Dog n Cat sounds like a straight transfer from the vinyl release on K&S Records complete with front and back cover on the inserts. This album was reissued on LP as Trident Demos 1969 (Chelsea Records 2R-68). Parts of these recordings appear on The Trident Mixes (Living Legend LLR-CD 039), A Beggars Opera (The Early Years 02-CD-3308), Catfish (Missing In Action), and complete Thee Satanic Sessions (Diablo Music CDDIA002), The Trident Mixes (STONES), and on disc one of Hillside Blues (VGP-214-1). The Dog N Cat was subsequently copied in The Mick Taylor Years (RSMT BOX CD1-12). It gathers together important alternate takes and outtakes from the very last days of Brian Jones and first couple of years of Mick Taylor’s involvement with the band.

“Jiving Sister Fanny” was recorded on July 2nd, 1969 at Olympic Studio, the day before Brian Jones died. Two versions with different lyrics were recorded that day. This is the rarer of the two, having appeared on some pressings of Metamorphosis while the second take appears on most pressings of the album and on the London Years. “I’m Going Down” was initially worked on between April 17th to July 1969 at Olympic Studio and later right before the US tour from October and November, 1969 in Los Angeles. This take, which was also used for Metamorphosis in 1975, dates from July 14th and July 15th, 1970 at Olympic. This track differs from the commercial version by having a false start. This track features Bobby Keys on sax, Rocky Dijon on percussion, Stephen Stills on guitar, and Bill Plummer on upright bass.

“Hamburger To Go” (aka “Give Me A Hamburger To Go” and “Stuck Out Alone&#8221winking smiley dates from sessions at Olympic from March and April, 1968 and remains unreleased. ”Downtown Susie” is a Bill Wyman tune recorded on April 23rd, 1969 at Olympic Studio and is the same as the version on Metamorphosis except is shorter at the fade by five seconds. “Blood Red Wine” was recorded May, 1968 at Olympic Studio. Jagger sings the vocals, Nicky Hopkins plays piano, and no other information is available. It has never been released which is a shame because it is the most intriguing song in this collection. “Travelin’ Man” is another unreleased song recorded at Olympic in October, 1970.

The first version of “Family” dates from May, 1968 in Olympic and it the arrangement with the electric guitar. The acoustic guitar arrangement which would appear on Metamorphosis would be recorded the following month. “Still A Fool” was recorded at the same sessions and is a ten minute jam on the Muddy Waters tune. Jagger tries his best to sing like the blues singer too.

Six out of the last seven tracks are instrumentals. “Leather Jacket,” recorded on June 22nd, 1970 at Olympic Studio in London, is a lighthearted and infectious pop instrumental whose sunniness is outside the pale of the Stones. “Dancing In the Light,” dating from the spring of 1970, is another upbeat instrumental but with some recognizable Stones raunch. “Potted Shrimp” and “Aladdin Story” come from the same time period as “Leather Jacket” but recorded at Stargroves. “And I Was A Country Boy” comes from the Feb.18-Mar.31 1969 sessions.

“Who Am I?” (aka “See I Love You&#8221winking smiley is a true mystery. It is listed on this release as being from Olympic Studio in March to May 1970. Others sources say late 1969 and even others from Jamaica 1972 and still others claim it comes from 1963 because of its simplicity. The best sources say it was recorded on July 14th - 15th, 1970. The final Trident jam is another mystery. There is no name associated with it and was never used by the band. The Trident Mixes sound fantastic. I compared some of the songs with what appears on the latest official remaster of Metamorphosis and there is a profound difference. The official release sounds like many CDs being remastered by the major record labels today. It is compressed, loud, and very harsh sounding. DAC on the other hand sounds very warm and detailed and is very enjoyable. Although there are no hidden gems on this (there is a reason why many of them still reside in the vaults) but this is an interesting collection.

The Trident Mixesl - Outtakes - 68:31 - Tracklist:
01. Traveling Man
02. Family
03. Dancing in the Light
04. Give Me A Hamburger
05. Downtown Susie

Re: The Rolling Stones 1968-06-xx Beggars Banquet Outtakes (FLAC)
Okay, this one IS: Bear Garden: "Beggars Banquet: The Outtakes"
(as confirmed when compared to earlier ULs from dime and Tapecity
(http://www.tapecity.org/showthread.php?t=3969).

BUT this title is a very bad copy of:
Sister Morphine: "Sympathy For The Devil - Beggars Banquet Outtakes & Rehearsals".
(Bear Garden have bad track transitions and a lot of repeats: listen to last of track 2, 4, 7 & 17).

i had listen to track 2 and 4 than, nr 2 cuts, and nr 4 has bad end two, while i dont have sister morphine version i cant say if this is "normal" or only on bear garden version

anyway this sound on this boot is fantastic, i put a small cover on the torrent wich i even got from tradersden site but changed nothing on the tracks, the tapecity version of this had a playlist file but not a fingerprint file so im not sure if both trackversions are identical

here is the infofile from this torrent:

This is a 2nd generation recording of the Rolling Stones in Champaign, IL, 11/15/69, 2nd show. I got a cassette directly from the taper, N. One of the channels was poorly recorded so I recopied the tape to fix it. This is all there is. The taper told me that he recorded his high school band over the first part. Not sure if that was an accident or not, or if it was his garage band, marching band, or what.

I believe that I am the only person he traded this to but can't say for sure. Quality is ok, not great, not terrible. I did a little touching up with analogue EQ and Adobe Audition. Presented in FLAC 1.2.1.

01. Midnight Rambler (fades in)
02. Little Queenie
03. Satisfaction
04. Honky Tonk Women
05. Street Fighting Man

This is a second generation audience recording of the Rolling Stones in Champaign, IL, 11/15/69, 1st show. This recording has been previously released by VGP but this version is closer to the master tape. I was able to borrow a cassette which was made from the master by the taper, C. I made an EQ'ed cassette copy which has now been transferred to digital.

This recording has a problem in that the bass distorts whenever it was too loud. The quiet parts sound great. The loud parts, so-so. I've done what I could with both analogue EQ and Adobe Audition. Presented in FLAC 1.2.1.

01. introduction
02. Jumping Jack Flash
03. Carol
04. Sympathy for the Devil
05. Stray Cat Blues

08. You Gotta Move
09. Under My Thumb
10. Midnight Rambler

The Rolling Stones - Stoned MSG 1969 (Remastered edition)
A Vinyl Gang Product 018 (repressed in 2005 or so)

Original VGP CD -> WAV (EAC) -> FLAC (Flac frontend) -> You

Recording info:

Live at Madison Square Garden, New York City, New York, November 27th 1969

(#)= County Stadium, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, June 8th 1975

Quality:
Very Good - Excellent Audience

Performance:
10 stars

Soundquality combined with performance, makes this my favourite 1969 bootleg

This new VGP pressing is in better quality than the older one - but how it compares; I can't say
- as I didn't find the VGP edition from 1994/1995 back then.
VGP did release some new, and sometimes improved, editions, before the very end - and also after they had to close down/change their name.

My own scans are included - the ones on the web didn't match this version

Tracklist:

01 Jumpin' Jack Flash

DAC's "Some satanic tour" is a combination of the 3 sources.

"SOTHEBY'S REEL 1969-1970" (Idol Mind Production / IMP-N-013 / 1CD)

Lineage: Original CD > EAC > WAV > FLAC

EX+ Stereo Studio Recordings. Artwork Included.

Tracks 1-4,7,8: Olympic Studios, London 10th February-31st March 1969
Track 6: 9-12th December 1969
Tracks 21-24,25-29: 17th October-2nd November 1970
Track 30: early October 1969
Tracks 5,9,11-20: 24th April 1970

Notes:
The Sotheby’s Reel are Glyn John’s working tapes when he was the Stones studio producer during Let it Bleed through the Sticky Fingers sessions, the Stones
classic rock period. The tape reel was auctioned some years ago at the famous Sotheby's London auction house and featured some different versions of great
songs that serve to let the Stones crown shine brighter.
I would especially like to point out “Gimme Shelter” recorded here on 15th March 1969 and featuring Nicky Hopkins on piano, a version of “You Got The Silver”
sung by Jagger from 16th February and an early take of “Sister Morphine” almost without piano. But remarkable is also “Loving Cup” that starts with a striking
different piano intro and lasts more than 6:30 minutes. Minimal are the differences in the mix for songs like “You Gotta Move”, “Dead Flowers” and “Sister Morphine”
second version that all resemble the finished Sticky Fingers release. On the other side of the coin we have to put the many opening riffs of both “Brown Sugar” and
“Bitch” that are tiredlessly repeated by an engineer that rolls back and forth the tape looking for a better echo effect, it seems. When the Stones recorded “Brown Sugar”
in Muscle Shoals Studios it is said that they tried the song the whole night to get it right, we can feel how they felt while listening to all these false starts.
Anyway when the tracks are completed like version number 11 of “Brown Sugar”, here comes an early take with Stu on piano and no sax or takes 19 and 20 of “Bitch” where
you can hear Jagger ad-libbing over Keith Richards guitar solo. Last track offered is a primitive version of “Shine A Light” called "(Can’t Seem To) Get A Line On You"
that stems from Leon Russel’s sesision at Olympic Studios in early October 1969 with Jagger on vocals (different words) but this take was officially released in January
1994 on a Leon Russell CD.
This release from Idol Mind Productions has of course a fantastic stereo sound and absolutely no hiss at all, another proof that its source is coming from the original
tape and featuring so many classic Stones songs from late '69 through 1970 that couldn’t be more palatable.
The release has a great cover also, with a previously unpublished shot while the back cover shows a pensive Stu watching the Olympic Studios recording equipment.
A must! - and a pleasure to listen to many times.

NOTES: This was the first outtakes CD to break new ground compared to the vinyl
era. It has outstanding to
excellent sound and includes material never before available, even on tape.
Rumor has it that this and some
of the other "Scorpio" and related CD are made from tapes sold at Sotheby's
auction house, which would
certainly explain why the material is "new" to collectors
