Thanks Mr. Z.........Always like to revisit shows I attended. Have had the 18th for quite some time but never the first show on the 17th. My computer is way to old and slow for Flac but when I download these with Real Player they download as WAV files which my ancient system has no problem with (besides taking forever). Very cool. Thanks again!

the highlight of the tour, with Mona. Thats why i called miself "Buffalo 81" because they played "Tops" and "Down the road apiece" in the same show. Despite they didnt played "satisfaction" and "jumpin' jack flash"

I'm sure they did JJF at Buffalo. Must admit that particular show is not among my personal favourites of that tour. I do like many of the shows they played in the beginning of the tour though. Especially the 2nd Philly concert.

I agree with you on Tops and Down the Road Apiece. They should have stayed in the setlist.

I think DAC released a bootleg of the 17th under that title

A couple of indications that it is the 17th:

After 'When The Whip...' Mick says hello followed by a comment on how nice it is to see SF again after 3 years. I think that would be a stupid comment if you did play there the day before.

After JJF ends, Mick says 'See you tomorow'

It appears that info on this boot is hard to find. My vote is that this show is indeed from Oct 17.


Any reference I could find for "Tie Me Down Or Turn Me Loose" says it's the Oct 18 show. That recording is LP source and partial show only that fits onto 1 CD:

Not to worry - as long as they are there ok

The bonus track is the official version of "Don't Wanna Go Home" from the Bigger Bang DVD edition.
Sorry, as I'm sure you are aware, we don't post the official stuff.

Personally, I think a 2005 bonus on a 1981 concert is not really in keeping anyway...
