Just a note to all fans the concert poster from the New Zealand 1973 February 11, is regarded within NEW ZEALAND as a piece of "Kiwiana" a term derived to create a sense of this nations history and items that hold signifigance to the community from which they originated.
i'm so pleased to see my old home town so well represented to you all across this community, shame it wasn't soundboard, but if yu grew up in NZ in the 70' you'd know the effort this "legger" went to was outstanding, no doubt the equip was probably a generation behind the international gear of the time, also Western Springs is a huge natural amphitheatre, with a large hill in front of the performers. Elton John, once mentioned that he'd felt that he'd hit the big time in 1973 when he played there, "the far ends of the earth, and 20,000 people turn up" or something like that.
Believe me this venue is a "Mecca" with respect, to most performers, it's difficult, but if you fill it, your golden.
