Amsterdam 1998...any bootlegs from shows 1-4
Posted by: RollingStonesFan ()

I have a really good audience-recording of the 5th (last) ArenA-Show (July 6th, 1998). My question: are there also good recordings from the other four shows?

By the way, the July 6th-show must have been incredible, just think about "Fool To Cry" or "Jumping Jack Flash"...booahhh, I have no words to qualify.

VGP released all of the Amsterdam shows in pretty good quality,
but the 2CD "Babylonian Knights" release from Dandelion is the best release.

I am basically looking for the MP3 file format.
Do you have the software to rip the CD's?

Baylonian Knight is actually Berlin Waldbühne 9/98 not Amsterdam. But it feature the Amsterdam soundcheck of Imagination (which did not make the final setlist). So you need the 5 VGPs and this CD to get all Amsterdam 98 recordings.

I want all these records, but as originals.

Sjouke,

I usually use a converter to go to flac or MP3 format.
There are different solutions to the problem.

Can you work it out?

Yes, I know how to do it, but have to do it at home, so be patience. I am not even sure if it is the Dandelion or Rattlesnake release. It is a 3CD set...
