Hi , I used win zip and tried and tried but i never estracted the archive , please help me with this

Thanks for uploading this video. Unfortunately both Zip files show as corrupt when trying to extract the files using winzip. I have even downloaded the latest version and it still fails.

As the compression ratio shown in the properties is minimal could you possibly put them up again as the raw avi files.

Hi!

The files are completely intact and compressed at the highest level, not at the lowest. I can't upload them as uncompressed avi files because megaupload only allows files up to 500 MB each. Therefore I have to compress and split them into several pieces.

It works perfectly for me. I had to install Winzip 11 first.
Store both files in the same folder. Both files need to be downloaded completely before unzipping them. It took about an hour to unzip, but it's definetely worth the wait.

Very good quality, filmed from opposite the stage. That's why audio and video are "out of snych", well, not in a tehcnical but in a physical sense (light travels faster than sound). But I don't care, it's great to watch!

will download files again - guess I had a corruption with the downloads as I was using winzip 11 to extract them.

I think it was because you just downloaded the first part , and you need to download the second part too , this way , the winzip will accept your files to extract

PAL. But I don't see why this is important. You can download the DVD and burn it in whatever format you want.

What exactly is the problem?

There's nothing wrongwith your upload Ludwig8745.

THE DON is always asking about the DVD norm because he can't watch PAL DVDs at his DVD player. So he downloads only NTSC DVDs.


Maybe an explanaition about "You can download the DVD and burn it in whatever format you want" would help him. I suppose!

Quique Stone thank you for your understanding you explained it well my situation. Since once I download a d vd and it's not in NTSC I can't modify it or transfer it to work on NTSC format to work on my dvd player. All though there has been some mention of how to do it on the internet it loses alot of quality because we are talking about different frame rates used and still might not work on all dvd players. Apparently it would be easier to transfer NTSC to PAL but not PAL to NTSC like I need in my case.

Btw I had the same situation, but I download PAL DVDs anyway if I'm interested. Not now but I guess I'm going to buy a new DVD player in the future, so it doesn't matter which norm it has.

We have very cool and generous people here sharing their great Stones DVD collections and I'm very thankful to them. My own DVD collections has grown a little bit since I started downloading DVDs last year.

I too have gotten quite a collection of CD/DVD since I learned about this site a few months ago and appreciate very much the uploaders for there generousity.
However I also understand that many still don't know about NTSC?PAL difference like I at the beginning didn't too. Many just think that if you have free region it should work for everyone but I have done alot of search on this thinking I could easily change or transfer but it's not actually possible. You can have free region and most players will play it but when we talk about NTSC/PAL we are talking about frame rates per second. NTSC has 29.975 and PAL has 25 or 23.** something like that. So i understand not everyone knows this.

I can easily use DVD FAB to tell me which format it is or even AVICODEC to tell me in which Frame rate per second it is in. However It does take some time to download the dvd's and than can't use it.

I also can easily download PAL like you say but I don't much free space on computer all though I have some in PAL stored. Right now my dvd player works fine but in the future I too will get a player that can play both NTSC and PAL.

I can easily understand what not having free space in the hard-disk can be.

there was also a problem with Milano_2006.part02.rar...but the repair function worked OK with that one...
