i recently got a new computer (hurray for me) with a dvd & dvd r/rw.

i have a couple of questions that i hope some of you can help me with.

1) what program(s) can i use to extract the audio from a dvd ?

2) what program(s) can i use to convert mpg/mpeg files to burn them to dvd ?

audio hijack is a great program to get the soundtrack from DVDs, websites, and anything that makes a noise on your computer and it will convert it to mp3 and any audio file form you want. And will directly export to iTunes as well! Great program and pretty cheap.
