ok vancouver, I'll continue here our conversation about speed/pitch. I heard 2 of the hendrix track. They are both one tone slow. you will need to play them 2 half tones higher. I've tested it with Mr Fantasy and Foxy Lady. Do you agree?

Alright, lets do the hendrix tracks again, if you like

1.-Open one song and double click over the wave to select it
2.-Go to effects>Time/pitch>stretch
3.-on transpose:click 2#
4.- On precission click high precission
5 On stretching mode click resample (preserves neither)
6 Click ok and you'll have the track as it should be
7 Save the track and enjoy

Now you can put all your concerts right. I suggest you start with birmingham 73 if you have the oh boy version (it's the only one I know) The procedure here will be the same except that on step 3 you have to clik 1# (half tone up) as this recording was half tone down. If you don't know how many ups or downs you have to click on step 3 for other recordings, ask me. Ok?

old time radio..on right...just to get rid of the worst distorsion, (i hope)

ok. it is 2 half tones down so you will have to put it 2# up. As for the sound, Old time radio is not a bad idea when you have a lot of distortion. It is a matter of trying until one gets the desired sound (hopefully). I like the way you share your stuff. I was looking for SFTD apple acetate to obtain the complete track by adding the missing verse to the ya ya's version. You posted it almost inmediately and I thank you very much for that. We'll keep working on tracks if you like. It's fun.

Yes, but it's not the complete song. You have to take the version you have posted AND ya ya's version. Your song has the 3rd verse whereas ya ya has the 1st and 2nd verse. I mean, the easiest way to do it is:

start sftd(ya ya's) and run it to the point where Keith's solo start. cut the rest and save
start sftd(apple acetate) and get to the point where the 3rd verse start ( Just as every cop etc). Cut what you have up that point and save the rest.
Splice the 2 parts together.

I've done in in multitrack. Now I have the complete song.
