I have a double album. Deutschland Hall 1970 and Hollywood Palladium 1972 POD records. The album it self is in very good shape. I Haven't listened to it in twenty years and I never cared for the sound quality. Its just collecting dust it yours if you want it.

Virgil, those old albums can be very valuable....you better find a way to find out what they're worth, before selling. I've seen old vinyl boots for 100s of dollars...even though 80% is not in that category.

I don't think you can find out on the internet.
But there are books, for instance "Schwarzbuch" by Dieter Hoffmann, I've got some of them....there are MANY books in those series, but don't have the ones you mentioned.
Perhaps someone at TellMe could help you...sorry I'm not a vinyl-expert.

Erik Question,

Do you know if this album exist on CD I do not remember seeing any post for either one.

If not, is there a way to convert these to MP'3 then we could post it it for everybody.

I would glady give these to anybody on this board who could post it for everybody. seems like a fair price.

Virgil,
Hollywood show is available on
"Two Great Albums Cheap" on VGP...copied from vinyl actually,
and the Deutschlandhalle...I suppose it's Berlin (?) is available in much better quality on VGP "The Stones- Live In Berlin 1970."
There ain't much shows from the 70s only available on vinyl,
The only ones I can think of is 1st Essen 73, Greenboro 78, Hampton 78, Zurich 76 and 1st Ottawa 79.
So it's the collector's value that makes them valuable.
Exception...Welcome To New York....better sound on vinyl.

BTW, you probably got Essen

or this one

copied from
[www.rollingstonesnet.com]

and Essen is on 2cd "Two Great Albums Cheap" in better quality (VGP).
But if you got the ones I posted here....they could be collectors items....these are classic releases.

Here's the CD release...info taken from the same net-page as the vinyl pics

Comments: "The bar is set high for VGP, because when they are not trying to get 6 releases a month out before the current interest in touring Stones wears-off, they are capable of putting out exceptional product. This is particularly true of properly setting the tape EQ on old audience recordings of this band. I've been waiting some time for the VGP Essen 1970 effort because no-one has got it right, but VGP does in this case as they are capable of doing. Now VGP is starting with the remastered source for LA 1972, but it's got that extra bit clarity and balance not found elsewhere."

Thats exactly what it says on on tha album. Two Albums cheap.

I figured if they Existed on CD Vancouver or Cafaro would have posted them by Now, those two have posted some Amazing Stuff. If Andreas really wants the Vinyl he can have it as long as he post it for Everybody.

Virgil....these are classic albums...for collectors...not important for the music, I've got the Essen show on CD..same as disc 1 of "Two Great Albums Cheap". You should get what you deserve for those collectors items.

But ofcourse Vancouver and Cafaro do a grand job...I'm just saying that your albums are worth money.

I have this on vinyl and believe me , the sound quality is really bad. I remember how disappointed I was becuase a week before I bought Welcome to NY on vinyl it the sound quality was great.

If someone wants my vinyl boot list, let me know. I have 10 or 15 boot shows on vinyl and as I am trying to buy a muscle car, I need to unload some of my useless stuff.
