Those titles are just copies of original VGP CDs, sometimes in worse quality.
The Hampton DVD is good though.

Hampton is the best boot from 81/82 I ever heard.
Hottest in hell is cool, very good sound quality, but not a complete concert.

Is hottest in hell better then other sounboards available in 75? Have a few from the past in Buffalo, Toronto but nothing with a 10 soundboard sound.

Erik can you confirm the worse quality for the Nasty Music (2CD) remaster? I'm planning to purchase this one. Thanks in advance for your reply!

BTW: Do you know something about the quality of the new IMP releases (rebirth & remastered)?

Sorry, I don't know.
I only know that most Brussels releases are not as good as the 5th VGP version. But a new label have released Brussels 73, I can't remember the name of the label, and according to some people, this is even better than 5th VGP.
I wouldn't make an investment in Brussels 73, apart from this new label, or VGP 5th ed.

The new IMP is excellent, always better quality or best available quality, for their releases. But the material is not so exciting...of the titles I know of at least.

Hampton 81 from 4reel though is a very good buy.

Thanks Erik! I have this legendary 5th release of VGP Europe '73 on gold CD and it's really superb. I wonder if this could be seriously upgraded. The above mentioned Nasty Music Def. Master Edition is the newest of the Brussel releases. Could this be the one that you mentioned. I don't know the label, only that it's a Japanese.

No, that's not the one. Rockman and another person mentioned it about 4 weeks ago on TellMe, you can search for it....the thread was about something else though, but it was mentioned. They also released Leeds 71.....the label was something short and strange.."hadjid" for instance. (NOT "hadjid"...I made that up..but something in the same vein).
But the title was not Nasty Music, or any other "common" boot-title....sorry, that's all I can remember.

How does the new 4 Reels Hampton DVD compare with either Jointrip version? If better, are you interested in a trade?

I think that Halcyon is Empress Valley.Maybe they're using the name Halcyon for Stones releases these days and saving EV for Led Zeppelin releases.Very expensive discs but, well worth it if you have extra spending money or better yet,can trust someone to trade with who won't mislead you (knowingly or unknowingly) about which label's release you are actually getting.

Just got Rolling Stones - Hampton 1981. Definitive Master Edition (1Dual Layer Real Silver DVD) Recorded live at Hampton Coliseum, Hampton Roads Virginia on December 18th, 1981. Top Of The Line / 4 Reel Productions.

It is no better sound or picture quality than any other releases, too bad.

I bought Halycon's Brussel (Bunnies,....) for 35 euros. Not a bad price.
