Originally released as the second ever Stones boot (also reviewed in Rolling
Stone mag) "We Didn't Really Get It on Until Detroit;" supposedly Mick said
this meaning it was the first really good show of the tour. Quickly copied
onto several now very obscure double and single LPs, all collectible and
scratchy! Only the first release is stereo. Now out on this CD, dubbed from
the very rare stereo 2 LP set with minimal loss in quality (noise reduction)
but some dialogue (scratchy quiet parts) chopped out. 3 songs (where are the
rest?) from a mysterious semi-professional video (!) are available in 7.0 m
quality on a rare German LP and the CD-R "American Tour, 1969 Soundboard
Compilation."

I have on tape but the old mediocere aud. recording - nice show - always like this one.

Stereo sound improvement would be nice!

I've got it on vinyl as "We Never Really Got it On till Detroit." It was graded a "B" by an old mail order firm called Rock and Roll
University back in the mid-70s (on an A-E scale). I would love to hear a cleaner version. It is a great concert, lots of neat Mick/crowd banter.

This was the first bootleg i ever owned! About 28 years ago. Had it on casette then. Ofcours, can't play that one anymore. Great to find the music back right here. Thank you stalemate!

How do you convert these to mp3? I tried resaving with file extension "mp3" but nothing happened. Anyone? What are .ogg files anyway?
