...got this about 2 years ago from a friend of the son of the taper ,....

For me the "best" Stones ´67 aud recording,...but still far away of being perfect.

Wonderful posting!
I know a guy - heavy fan - who said they sounded crap in 1967.
Now I will judge my by own ears.

Well they sounded good - the recordings are crap and this is the best of the crappy recording for 1967 - but not too bad.

I will investigate when the crap gig was related to this one.

Sorry; afraid I have to agree with my rock'n'roll friend who said
they sounded awful live during 1967. Just listen to Paint It Black;
so untight, you wanna cry.
On the other hand the sound is much better that I had expected.

I am sorry - I did not keep these - I should have for posting reasons..

I believe the announcement, supporting act, and conversational speaking were in Italian which I do not understand...an English idiot - I am. Great job to the original tapers Clary and Peppino and poster in dime - Gracie!!!(<--hope thats thanks?) from around the other side of the globe.

Just few notes about the Milan 67 tape: the taper is Peppino's Father, Clary and Peppino were children at that time, and you can hear Peppino saying something in the tape ... if you hear the taper talking, you can understand what he's saying when the Stones get into the stage ... "tutti sono in piedi perchè sono arrivati i Rolling Stones con facce poco meno che patibolari ..." ... "everybody stands up because the Rolling Stones arrived with little less than scaffolds faces".
Great Peppino's father!!!! ... the legend says that some part of the show was cancelled due to a weekend trip in the country with sons and family and Peppino's Father needed some tapes to record his children singing ...
