The CD set is great but there's one error: Star Star on CD 1 was not recorded during Europe 1973 but it's a fairly mediocre recording from 1976.

For the uninitiated be forewarned…your perceptions of decent music will forever be altered.

….perhaps that is a tad over the top.

Well, let’s just say this is a damn good example of the Stones at their peak.

Don't know what CD you're talking about, but Star Star on the Brussels Affair Definitive Edition is an audience recording from Brussels 1973 (the only track that is not available as sbd.). The whole CD1 is a copy of VGP's "The Lost Brussels".

Thanks Nick but I live in the US. If it was to see a show from 1967-1981, I would say yes but for this tour? No.

On my copy it is definitely a 1976 recording. It's Ron playing not Mick Taylor.

AAH this is great. My first time listing to a cd from this era, as I finally got a home computer with a burner. I thought T.D. and dancing are tremendous!!!

Sweet sugar pie.....

Thanks so much.

Excellent. Only minor problem; I can not make CD1 MR and YCAGWYW work. It just says: "The download limit has been reached for this file."

It is a shame because MR is the particular song I am interested in. Are the versions of MR the same performances in both CDs?? I listened to CD2 one, and it's different (shorter) than the one I am looking for (I used to have it in vinyl called "Bedspring Symphony").

So you do not have the original CD but something mixed-up. I have downloaded the version posted by Cafaro (above) and it's definitively from Brussels 1973, not from 1976! The whole Brussels show is available as audience recording on "Nasty Muzik" (VGP-252) and that's where it's taken from.

Hi Cafaro,

Sorry to be a pain, but can you reload YCAGWYW from disc 1 again? I'm wonderin g if the new You Send It will only allow a certain amount of info to be downloaded each time? Since YCAG and Midnight Ramber are larger files, maybe less people can download before it reaches its limit?
